Chapter 10: USJ Aftermath!
The staff of UA had reconvened once more at the staff meeting room and this time, they had a guest in the form of the detective–Tsukauchi. Aizawa as well as Thirteen had been present and were given the center stage to explain what had happened.
All the villains present in the attack including the ringleader of them had been apprehended. With their ticket out of this mess being incapacitated far earlier, they were trapped with no way to escape. In hindsight, the villains had been compliant as long as they were to be taken far away from Izuku and Katsuki.
In regards to the two problem children who left all the villains at the scene very traumatized, they had easily stopped without making any fuss once Nezu had asked them. It had been very surprising since most staff expected them to be difficult to stop.
It later became very clear to them that the two had done it intentionally since the villains at the scene had looked at them as if they were their saviors and had thus far been complying with the investigation as long as they were kept far away from the two students.
Afterwards, Izuku and Katsuki had left through teleportation, returning back to the school while leaving everything to their discretion. They didn't mind. It had been obvious from the start that the two despite their chaotic nature had been helping them greatly.
"The incident of the USJ attack had already been leaked." Midnight revealed as she held her phone and turned it around to show the news. "Don't know if this is a good thing for us or if it's a bad thing." She sighed.
UA had tried to keep the incident under wraps until they conducted all of their investigation but the media learned about it. UA had taken credit for defeating the villains at the USJ as well as managing to get the students out and back to the safety of the UA main building.
Of course, the news had been divided. They still received criticism for the fact that a group of villains successfully managed to breach UA's security but since they were convinced that UA had successfully protected the students and had neutralized all the villains on their own had helped get the heat off them.
"I'd like to think it's a good thing for us." Cementoss said. "After all, It will only further reinforce the image that UA not only is the best hero school in Japan to teach the next generation of hopeful heroes but also the safest to be in at the moment."
"It will also hopefully act as a deterrent." Vlad King added as well with a sharp look. "Villains around the country will think twice before attacking us. Fear is a good way to put some of the unsavory individuals in line." Vlad's words earned him nods from others.
The reason why UA's reputation had improved greatly is because the incident today had given the impression that each staff at UA is a one man army who can defeat hundreds of villains.
According to the news, two UA staff teachers successfully evacuated all of the students while holding off hundreds of villains until backup arrived without the need of All Might's help. It was overinflated but it had been beneficial to UA in the end.
