Chapter 12: First Day Training!

It's been two days ever since the announcement of the school sports festival. Everyone talked to their respective parents or guardian to permit them to be a part of the boot-camp training which had been met with some resistance from some of the overprotective parents but that changed quickly.

The sports festival is an important event not only for their future as heroes but also their future in the hero course. Usually, transferring entire courses is quite rare as it is difficult since the hero course is not the same as any of the other courses at UA.

This is why the sports festival was done only a month after the start of the first year since if a transfer happened in that period of time, the students that might join the hero course through backdoor might be able to eventually catch up to the other hero course students in terms of academics.

"So you all came!" Izuku noted that everyone is present with their luggages while some came empty-handed but in reality had a dynocap in their pocket ready to pull it out at any moment. "That's good. At least, you guys have the resolve to go through this!"

"Not like we have a choice on the matter." Ojiro said with an uneasy smile on his face, mirrored by many of them. "If we had refused, you'd have tyrannically kidnapped us from our homes kicking and screaming!" He rubbed the back of his head.

"Ha! Well you look at that, it seems like someone knows you too well." Katsuki laughed while Izuku pouted. "You wanted them to resist so you could kidnap them!"

It was true. Izuku did want some to resist so he could have a reason to pull off a Piccolo on them by abducting them all right underneath their parents' noses and taking them away to the training field. Izuku's silence had been enough to make them all sweatdrop.

They had all anticipated as such. Izuku did have that air around him that made him appear like a tyrant leader who only knows how to enforce his own wishes on others and damn those who don't like it but even then...

"It's indeed true that our class president appears forceful in his approach." Iida was the one to speak. "But I believe that this is his most powerful aspect of his leadership. What we all need is a decisive class president who would not shy away from making decisions aimed for our benefit!"

It is undeniable that Izuku does appear to be tyrannical but he has very good intentions. He is also willing to hear other opinions but will ultimately make a bold decision for the sake of the development of his classmates which is the quality Iida admired.

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement with their stiff classmates' words. Even though they knew Izuku would have hunted them all down if they didn't show up, they still came of their own volition because they believed in Izuku's speech two days ago. They want to be strong.

"Let's get to it, problem child!" Aizawa stepped forward, deciding to put a stop to this long winded talks. The only thing he had brought with him was just the sleeping bag and nothing more than that. "Where are you going to take us?" he asked.
