Chapter 8: Part I: USJ!

"You think someone had infiltrated the school using the press to redirect our attention elsewhere?" Nezu asked curiously as he alongside the staff of UA had come upon Izuku's request and given his position as class president, he was taken seriously.

"I'm not speculating, I know it has happened." Izuku corrected. "The residual energy that is left behind on the scene of the destroyed UA gates is the same one that had seemingly teleported or warped inside the building of UA." Izuku revealed much to the surprise of the UA staff.

"Every living being leaves behind a footprint which is later examined by those of the forensics to determine the perpetrators." Izuku explained. "In this case, they've left behind a notable residual energy through the destroyed UA gates which I can read." he explained.

This came as a surprise to many of the staff who were unaware of this tidbit of information. Nezu on the other hand didn't seem surprised as the rest. It's true that he didn't know about this particular ability but he had naturally expected it to be possible for Izuku.

Nezu was among those who had figured out that Hercules Satan was a fraud and that Izuku and Gohan were the true saviors of this world but he didn't say anything about it out of respect for the two choices in maintaining secrecy until they decided to come out in which he will support them.

"I could obviously show you." Izuku offered. Despite seemingly giving them the choice to decide if they actually want to see or not, he didn't even wait for their permission as he just started right away.

An ethereal green light just started to radiate from his eyes. The surprised UA staff found their eyes being closed against their will as they were ensnared by the green light particles released in the room. Slowly, they all had started to see visions of what happened as if they were there.

This technique was called [Memory projection], Izuku had created it for many purposes such as this one. By reading the residual energy left behind, Izuku could watch what had happened as if it was a movie. Izuku had to admit that it's useful.

"Wow!" Present Mic let out a sigh clearly in awe at the ability of Izuku. "Is there anything you can't do, little listener?" He couldn't help but ask the Op kid who looked like he had no limit to what he could do. Many had nodded their heads as well as they too shared the same feeling.

"My mom is a scientist." He explained with a shrug. "I created this technique for research purposes. Being able to actually read the memory of the object is very useful if you ask me." He explained getting many to nod in agreement as they saw his point.

"I see your point." Vlad said with a sigh before he turned to his colleagues who all had grim looks. "Now what do we do?" He asked the others as they all had paused to think.

"Luckily, we have a clear image of the suspect who destroyed the UA gates." Midnight spoke, earning her nods from others. "We also know to some extent that he teleported or warped inside the staff room to take something that we have yet to determine."
