Karan reached Mahajan house to pick up Monami for dinner. He waited in the hall and as Monami stepped down the stairs, he couldn't take eyes of her.
She looked like a bride in red. The saree, simple yet elegant. His wife - the way he had always imagined his wife to be. Saree, bangles and a Small bindi. And little red sindoor on her forehead. She looked heavenly gorgeous and Karan felt smitten.
"Kya dekh rahe ho, husband?" Monami laughed and asked
"How did I get so lucky?" Karan said, without taking her eyes off.
Monami held Karan's jaw with her hand and shook it. "You sound so cute, Mr Shergill"
"Ready for dinner?" Karan asked
"Absolutely excited for whatever you have planned for us today."
She offered her arm to Karan, and they both left the house.

They drove a little distance to the highway in Mr Mahajan's car. Given that he planned to return late night, he thought it would be a safer option for Monami. She didn't know that the plan was only for dinner but just went with whatever Karan suggested, as he was in charge of the evening.
Monami was surprised when Karan went to one of the banquets on the highway. The wedding season had already ended and the banquet entrance was not very nicely lit. Karan stepped out, and opened the door for Monami. Monami smiled and stepped out, Karan noticed her heels, she looked tall to match his 6 feet 2 inches. Karan put his arm around her, touching her thin but curvy waist with his fingers, and Monami looked into Karan's eyes. He looked happy and proud. And so was Monami. With their height and good looks, they made a stunning couple - contrasting his ruggedness with her angelic beauty.
Karan led Monami down a small path. Monami could see some bright lights ahead and was excited.
The pathway led to a small garden. There was a canopy in the centre of the garden with white seating, Table covered with roses. The bushes on the garden periphery were covered with fairy lights. A perfect Romantic setting.

"Abhi ke liye itna hi kar paya" Karan wondered if this was enough to please the rich girl he was with.
"It's perfect" Monami smiled "thank you. Aaj ke baad tum hamare official date planner promote kiye jaate ho - ab hamari har date tum hi plan karoge"
"Yes M'am, with pleasure" Karan felt happy and confident hearing Monami approve his arrangements.
"Hope she remains equally spirited once I tell her that about the extended restrictions and that we have no plan after this" Karan thought. But he feared it won't be an easy conversation so he didn't want to do it now. Monami was happy and smiling wide and his heart didn't want to lose this.
Karan pulled the chair for Monami and she was again pleasantly surprised. Karan had watched several videos on dating etiquettes while planning this evening.
