Oh. My. God.
I screamed! I screamed so loud my mum thought I was one of the cats!
That was it I was going to London. FOR FREE! Well not quite I still had to pay the trains and hotel but the convention ticket was free! I was so super very excited!I ran upstairs and told my mum and she told me she had got loads of people to nominate me and I was beyond touched. Making friends was something I struggled with since a kid. It was due to the facts I didn't understand social cues, was extremely anxious, and a little different to my peers. I was subjected to bullying and I had eventually convinced myself that I wasn't likeable. But the fact that these people nominated me and gave me the opportunity I was so touched. I contacted my friends and asked them if I could read what they sent, I like to be in the known.
"Hi I'm Suzy,
I'd like to nominate my friend Ella for the silver ticket for the greys anatomy and station 19 convention.Ella is such a huge greys anatomy AND station 19 fan. She could be classed as a super fan! She says she not obsessed but we all know that she is, she's not kidding anyone! She talks our ears off!! She's been watching both the shows for over 5 years now and the amount of times she's rewatched them both she could recite them. When she heard about the convention she tried to put ALL her savings together to try and get a ticket but because of all the extra costs of trains and accommodations she didn't have enough. She's applied to SO MANY jobs trying to get some money to get to London but still no luck. She's given her poor mum Ted Talks on why she would like to go! She really deserves the ticket, of course there will be other people who do but she should be taken into consideration.
She's such a kind soul, no matter how hard of a day she's having she always has a smile on her face, and makes others laugh. She takes time out of her week to mentor year 4 students and support them with school work and over all well being despite having a busy schedule herself. She looks after her two younger siblings and always supports her mum when she's having a bad day. The other day ella started crying in school because of stress but then her friend started crying, so ella put her feelings on hold to support her friend and make her laugh. In the future Ella aspires to work for the NHS and become a child and adolescent psychologist and again support children going through bad times.
In conclusion please take Ella into consideration she doesn't know that I've nominated her and I've asked a load of her friends to also nominate her because she truly deserves it.
Have a great day!!
Suzy. ""Hi, i would like to nominate my daughter Ella as a recipient of your fanfusion giveaway.
She's a massive Greys fan and deserves to receive your kindness giveaway ticket. I even had to subscribe to Disney + just so she could watch!
We lived in Hong Kong and returned to the UK in August 2023 having lived through the Covid madness.
Ella was 5 when we went to Hong Kong in 2012 and life was sweet until lock down happened. During that time we were unable to get back to the UK without 3 weeks quarantine in an hotel which was impossible to book, so leaving and returning was a lottery and could take months, hence we stayed put for 3 years..
Ok, I hear you say, didn't we all have hardship to bear? Of course, but during lock down, Ella's grandad died and we were unable to get back to the UK to say good bye or for the funeral. My wife, Ellas mum Wendy, was absolutely heart-broken as she was unable to comfort her mum or say good bye and we ended up watching the funeral on Skype!
In the run up to his passing, Ella was an absolute rock to her mum giving emotional support even though she herself was hurting. She organised a kit to cast Nana and grandad holding hand which they sent to Ella's mum from the UK to HK. I was really not sure about this, but Ella insisted, and it was an absolute hit.
The cast is still with us in the UK, and you can see what it means to her Nana, let alone my wife Wendy.
This for me, is a prime example of Ella's empathy, conviction and beauty about care and kindness. She instinctively knows what kindness means and delivers.
I hope you award her a ticket, she deserves a little kindness in her life
Thank you
Chris (Proud Dad)""Hi this is regards to your kindness give away.
I want to nominate Ella because she is such a kind person. She always does good for her family, her friends, and even random strangers.
She will help people whenever and where ever she can. In our old school Ella did tours for the new students as well as students who were planning to join the school for an open day.
She's running 21km for cancer research, she cut off her hair for charity, and she always puts others before herself.
Just as an added bonus, the smile it would put on her face to win and have the chance to meet the actresses for Maya and Carina on station 19. I'd pay good money to see that smile. Anyway thank you have a good day."
I cried reading all of them. Was it possible people thought that good of me? I've never felt so.....valued.
I somehow managed to convince my mum and sister to come to London with me, not to attend the convention but to spend the weekend there with me. My mum wasn't super impressed at the thought of staying at Heathrow airport for a weekend but she assured me she was happy if I was happy, and boy was I happy!
I told almost everyone I saw I was going to the convention. Wether it was my friends, my mums friends, my friends friends, my biology teacher! I was so excited for the weekend. And as a bonus I got to skip a day of school! And I did NOT like school so it was absolutely fine with me.
