The last week of school before the summer holidays came around and man was I excited.
15th July 2024:
A Monday. I had my usual classes, Psychology, Biology, then a double free. Pretty chill day.
I spent my double free trying to focus on some work but to be honest I wasn't having much luck. All that was on my mind was that in four days I was going to London.
After school my friend and I got the train home like we normally do. We got off like normal and got into her mums car as normal as she drove us home. It happened to be my friends birthday on the Wednesday so we stopped off at a shop where she bought a birthday cake. Whilst we were there I went to print out some photos of Jay Hayden, Jaicy Elliot, and Jake Borrelli for the autographs.
The silver ticket I had included three day access, access to all panels, poster, lanyard, access to panel recordings, and autographs from those three. I got home that night and put all the photos in a plastic wallet I had named "LONDON."
In the wallet there were now the photos, and letters I had written to Danielle Savre and Stefania Spampinato as we were allowed to leave gifts. I liked this because my way of showing affection wasn't the typical. It wasn't hugging and the usual speaking and telling a person how much they mean to you. But it was rather gifts (pebbling theory: gifting someone a pebble that reminds you of them as a sign of affection) and letters.16th July 2024:
A Tuesday. My lessons that day were Chemistry, Study, Psychology, Chemistry, and a free. Nice day in my eyes.
It was sports day which I was dreading. I hated off timetable events and changes. They just caused me so much stress and anxiety. Thankfully because of the rainy English wether sports day was still on but no one was watching so only the people competing had to go. This meant most of my classes were empty and not crowded which I liked very much!
During my free I sat with my two friends and they let me talk about the convention for 50 minutes! After school I jumped the train into town to go and meet my friend, the ones who's birthday was on the Wednesday. She volunteered at a hospital on Tuesday afternoons in town so I went to meet her.
We decided to create a new little birthday tradition where we went and got waffles from the desert place in celebration. So that's what we did.

A Wednesday. It was my friends birthday! Do you know who else's birthday it was? Stefania's!
On Wednesdays my friends and I would go to a coffee shop before school. And we did. She opened the present I got her which was a plush dinosaur, claw clip, a bday headband, and some other things.
We got to school and met up with my two other friends and this is where one of them whipped out three bags. One was a birthday present for the person who's actual birthday it was, and the other two were belated birthday presents for me and the other friend!
I opened mine and it was lovely but the thing that stuck out the most was the card. She had made a birthday card where she had photo shopped a picture of me and Stefania together. God I laughed so much! She had listened to me go on and on about Stefania and Carina and the greysverse and she had actually listened. I will forever treasured that card.
We had Biology first and it wasn't our last lesson but it was mine because I wasn't in on the Friday, I was in London! My teacher had said she was giving out sweets on Friday and I sighed and she said what's wrong and I had jokingly explained I was ditching school. She asked why and I told her about the convention and she was jealous which I found funny! We spent the next 10 mins of the lesson talking about it!
I then had study and enrichment and it was a good day :)
18th July 2024:
A Thursday. It was my last day of school that year! I had survived an entire year of a new school!
I had a double free, double chemistry and then another double free. Good day indeed. That morning in registration my form tutor asked if anyone had any plans for the holiday and I did not pass on the opportunity to talk about the convention. I could swear the whole school knew at this point! Just joking I barley spoke in school, but when I had the opportunity to talk about the greysverse I would.
The day was swell. I spent the day counting down the minutes until the bell rang and I could leave!
It rang and home I ran!
Not literally I got the train.
