Madison's POV
As I wait in the next room, separate from Adam, I couldn't help but be sad. My parents and I may not be on the best of terms but despite that, I wish she could be here and have someone in my family to be with me on my big day.
Suddenly there is a knock on the door, and I nearly fall to my knees when both of my parents walk in with Serena. Serena, Atlus, Dax, Skydxddy, ekoh and kallmekarizma were going to be the only guests to the wedding and i am just shocked to see both of my parents here right now.
"Momma? Dad? "I asked with a bright smile and happy tears in my eyes.
"Wow my dear, you look absolutely beautiful. "Mom said with a smile and before i knew it, we were all joined into a group hug.
"I am so damn happy that you guys are here."I said as we pulled away and father decides to speak.
"Well, you can thank your loving future husband for that. "He said with a small smile.
"You talked to Adam?" Mom takes my hands in hers.
"We were so wrong to judge Adam before we got to know him...to get to know our daughter better. We let our religion and prejudice ways get in the way of your life and your happiness and we were taking that from you. I am so sorry Madison. We both are. If you allow us, we would love to be a part of your big day. "Mom said and I pulled them both in another hug.
"Let's go get you married sweetheart."My father said before we linked arms and headed to the main room where Adam is at the alter waiting for me.
When the door opened and I set my eyes on Phix, wearing a simple black dress shirt and skinny black jeans with rips in it with black boots. He tears up immediately upon seeing me. I tried my best to hold myself together and I let a stray tear fall as my father brought me closer and closer to the altar until Adam reaches out for my hand and my Father leads my hand to his, kissing me on the cheek before me and Adam turned to the pastor. AKA Serena. She got her lisence just to be able to officiate my wedding. Luckily the court house was cool with us doing that.
We joined hands and turned to Serena.
"Okay. As you all know, we are not going the traditional route. Instead of the couple reading their own vows to the other. Adam will read Maddie's and she will read Adam's so...."She then hands us each a folded piece of paper and I urged Adam to go first.
"In life's darkest moments, I vow to be your guiding light. When the world seems cold and uninviting, know that my warmth will comfort you. And when the burden of hard times feels too heavy for one person alone, let me be there for you as a strong shoulder to lean on. I smile every time I think of you, and I will love you until the end of time. If that smile isn't on my face, do know that it still lives in my heart and soul. I want to be with only you for the rest of my life. I love you Adam. I never want to ever again wake up next to someone else but you. Forever and always. My ride or die. My Clydie...His bonnie." Adam finished with a stray tear streaming down his face and then it was my turn to read Adams vows. I was so damn nervous.
"Okay Madison...your turn now.." Serena said and i gulped in nervousness. I was very shy to speak my future husbands words within this vow. But i was excited to know the truth about his feelings. I opened the piece of paper and began to read the intricate handwriting that Phix was so gifted with.
"I didnt know much about love..didnt really want it but when you first walked into my life I never knew what such a big oart of my life you would become but I wouldnt change anything for the world. I would do anything for you. I would burn this whole world down just to have the honor to have you by my side. I look forward to this journey with you. Always and forever. I love you . " I finished reading and phix wiped my tear away before we turned our attention back to Serena.
"Rings?" We exchanged rings.
"Now i pronounce you husband and wife. Adam you may kiss your bride." Phix smiles and pulls me in a loving kiss.
Nothing could be better than this.
