I awoke to a note beside me on Phix's pillow and He is nowhere to be found. I pick up the note and begin to read it.

Today is your big day!! I am so sorry that I am not there with you to see those beautiful eyes open. But I am currently somewhere secret, planning something special for my girl. Today the girls are going to come over and take you shopping and get you ready for you surprise tonight and by the way, dont worry about paying for anything, i have it all taken care of. I smiled to myself as I overread the note and I immediately started to get ready for the spa and shopping day ahead of me . I didnt know what Ian had planned for me but I was more than happy to play along with whatever it is. Im the birthday girl and I'm going to enjoy this.
Once the girls got here , we went to get our nails done. I got a simple French tip pedicure and some nice lavender nails.

We then went to get our hair done. I got the highest treatment they had because apparently thats what ian had set up for me and After I got my hair put up in a nice curly updo, they did some skincare on me before doing some soft glam makeup on me .

"Damn girl you look gorgeous."Serena said.
"I agree. Ian is a lucky guy."Caroline said and I smiled.
"Now all we gotta do is get you a dress and shoes." Freya said and we headed to the dress shop and I settled on this little black dress and the shoes were even red bottoms and I really didnt like spending his money but he told me to not worry about anything so I guess I should trust him.
We ended up back at the apartment , getting ready and I felt good in my new dress. I paired it with a pair of ruby diamond earrings and some new perfume i got.

"Ready to go to your surprise? "Serena asked me and I nodded.
"As ready as Im going to be. "I said and we got in the uber and headed to wherever the girls were taking me.

We pulled up at a local amphitheater. I was confused as to why we are here. Especially for my birthday, what are we doing here?
"What is this guys?"I asked and they just smirked and Freya pulls out a bunch of VIP passes. She hands me one and I was shocked to find out that this a concert for Phix. It all started to make sense now.
"Guys this is what my surprise is? Adam is performing tonight? Why didnt he just ask me to come?"I asked and they all just rolled their eyes.
"Just come on girl. You'll see soon."Serena said and took my hand and we met up with a security guard who escorted us side stage and I see Adam standing there and He smiles upon seeing me. He comes up to me and kisses me gently.
"Happy birthday baby . You look absolutely gorgeous."
"Thanks to you. You didn't have to do that for me you know. I just want you in my life, as long as I have you I feel like i can conquer the world. "I said and he smiled, while blushing, and kisses me again.
"I would gladly do it every day if you would allow me to. You mean so much to me and I never want to have to wake up and not have you by my side. "He said. I hugged him close and then the stage guy came over and told us that Phix is about to go on in 2 minutes.
"I cant wait to show you your birthday surprise ."He said and i smiled.
"I suppose your not going to tell me what it is." Phix grabs a mic and adjusts his earpiece.
"Why dont I just go ahead and show you."He said and ran on the stage, leaving me standing there confused.
He greets the audience and he then makes eye contact with me before addressing them again.
"Today is a very special day and I would like to sing happy birthday to my girl Maddie and give her her birthday gift."He said and Freya pushed me forward so I would go on stage and I walked onto it and headed to Phix and he takes my hand in his.
They all proceeded to sing happy birthday to me and I couldnt hide my smile and i was as red as a tomato. Phix pulls me close and kisses me as they stopped singing and then he turns his attention back to the audience after i returned to the side of the stage.
"Now I want to treat you both to a new song I wrote in honor of the birthday girl. She is a talented and kind soul who continues to inspire me everyday. I hope you enjoy this baby because this is for you because your my bonnie and im your clyde for life."He said and the music began to play and I grew nervous.

Once he finished the song, I ran on stage and jumped into his arms and held him close. I never wanted to let this man go. He is it for me. I intend to be with Ian for the rest of my life and I dont want anyone or anything else but him. I'm in love and to be honest, It scares me.
