I chose to be skeptical. "Em, hey little one, I'm not who you're expecting," I said, trying to sound calm. But before I could hang up, the child's voice replied, "Your bathroom door is closed now."

My heart skipped a beat. "What do you mean?" I asked, my voice shaking slightly.

The child giggled. "Gummy Bear was naughty today and got dirty. Look, he's in there!"

My hands trembled as I heard running water in my bathroom. I dropped the phone and sat on my bed, trying to process what was happening. The water continued to run, and I closed my eyes, telling myself I was just tired and had a long day.

But as the water stopped, I opened my eyes and saw that my bathroom door was open. I sprinted out of my room like a raging bull, not caring about any part of my body. I felt someone running with me, and I screamed without confirming if anything was really there. I grabbed the door handle, but it wouldn't open.

Suddenly, my phone rang from the room. "Ha! I really don't want to end up dead like in horror movies," I thought. I took a few deep breaths, turned away from the door, and headed back to my room.

My legs shook as I walked. I had second thoughts and considered jumping out the window, but it was a four-story building. I entered my room, picked up the phone slowly, and said, "What do you want from me this time?"

The voice on the other end was no longer a child's, but a much older female voice. "I don't know... Gummy Bear just really, really likes you. Do you like him too?"

I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the question. "Yes," I played along.

She giggled. "Then he's all yours."

I was taken aback. "What did you say? What do you mean?" But the call ended before I got any answers.
