Nineteenth of July, 2021

As always life has proven to Amelia why she cannot have fun even in her thirties.

Upon waking up the next day, she was met with none other than the devil's spawn herself in all her glory.

"Where were you yesterday?"

"What is it to you?"

"Amelia." She spoke sternly

"I was out on duties with the parliament."

"It doesn't look like you were. Your location was at Anne's house all day."

"I left my phone there and went to retrieve it before heading back here last night. I apologise, I have to meet up with Granny now."

"Not until I am done with you."

"You have no right."

"You'll come to know and understand, that I do."

"Look, I do not have the time to be squandering around so please move aside." Amelia starts to walk away but is halted by Camilla's voice.

"Okay then if you weren't with your phone and out doing duties, what is this?"  Amelia turns to look at the old woman and her eyes fall on a printed picture, the one she took yesterday, their picture.

"Who is this young man?"

"As I said, I had duties to attend to and he wanted a picture."

"So he's part of the parliament? Because if I remember which I do quite well, is this not your brother's friend?"

"Your point?" Amelia kept her voice sharp and quick. She was not going to show her any weakness especially now, not after years of work. Camilla grabs her forearm, her eyes burning with pure hatred.

"Well I'm sure Charles would love to hear how his daughter is opening her legs up to any man better yet a middle-classed person of colour."

"Remember where you stand Camilla." A loud voice boomed from behind Amelia, "Get your hands off my grand-daughter. Why are you here, were you invited? I don't think so now scram."

"I was just checking up on her and reminding her we don't have any room for more collateral damage after what Harry pulled." Camilla smiled at the Duke in front of her

"Yes you've done that well enough so please excuse yourself." She let Amelia's arm go but not before digging her nails into it. Amelia immediately stood behind her grand-father and wrapped her hands around his left arm.

Camilla smiled at the two and moved on with her day.

This was not going to end well.

Lewis was just as confused as Amelia when articles started to pop up about the picture they took yesterday.

"I'm actually so stressed, I don't even know what to do." Lewis exclaimed to his sister who had come over for a cup of tea

"It's going to be alright, just keep calm. They'll have it sorted."

"This is all my fault, I even deleted my entire finsta."

"I'm so sorry Lewis, it must feel so awful." Nicola reached over to place her hand on his

"Honestly, it does. I can never have a good thing without someone ruining it."

"It's going to be okay, have you checked up on her?"

"I've tried it's not going in."

"Try again? Or try Layla, she's always around her."
