Today I have a swimming competition. This is the one I have been training for the last 4 months. If I win this competition I will have 17 first-place medals. Also, Dad and Sherry are coming to watch me compete. I haven't forgiven Paris, she has to face the consequences of her actions. Mr. Medina told me that Lorelai and him broke up. I told him that I was sorry for his heartbreak. I walked away after that. Lorelai hasn't apologized to me for her actions. I don't think she ever will. But enough with last week.

I am at the swimming competition now. I am tucking my braid into my swimming cap. "Princess, we have just saw your father and his girlfriend. She is beautiful." Grandmother said. "Sherry is very beautiful. Dad has good taste." I said. "Piglet." Dad said. "Eeyore." I said walking up to him. I wrap my arms around him.  Dad wraps his arms around me. "It is good to see you too, Piglet," Dad said. "Eliza, it is good to see you," Sherry said. "Sherry, it is good to see you," I said as I hugged her. Since Dad and Sherry have moved back, they have been spending more time with me. On Wednesday, Sherry and I went to shop for my bedroom at Dad's and Her house. Sherry and I bonded during the shopping trip. Then on Thursday, Sherry took me to the L'Oréal store and we got some new makeup.

"Swimmers to your spots." The announcer said. I said goodbye to my family and went to my spot. I start to my arm warm up. I look over and see the media has started to line up. "Ugh. Those menaces are here again." Swimmer a said. We got on our platforms and got into position. I took a deep breath. The pistol went off. I drove into the pool. I swam with all my strength. I did my flip and turn. I took off with so much power. I am lapping my competitor. I am halfway to the finish line. I put more power into my kicks.  The finishing line got closer and closer. I reach for the wall and I ..... make it. I win. I take off my goggles and I turn to look at the screen. 1st: Victoria Elizabeth Hayden Gilmore. I smack the water. I did it. Next to my name on the screen is WR.  No way I broke the world record. Yes! I go to congratulate my competitors. Afterwards I put on my goggles and swam to edge of the pool and hopped out. I cheered. My coach gave me my towel. "You did it, Victoria. You broke the world record. And you won first place." My coach said. I smile at the cameras and waved to my family. My coach and I headed back to the locker room. I got changed into my sweatsuit and left the locker. I was brought over to get my medal. I was given my medal and headed towards my family.

"Piglet, you were amazing. You left the other Swimmers in your wake." Dad said. "Thank you, Eeyore. Sherry, did you enjoy the race?" I said to dad and asked Sherry. "I did. Like your dad said you were amazing. You are very talented young lady." Sherry said. "Thank you, Sherry." I said. "She is definitely talented. Now I  believe, it is time to leave." Grandfather said. "Sherry, Chris, you two are stopping by the house to pick up Victoria for the celebration dinner?" Grandmother asked.  "We are Emily. Piglet, the same restaurant as usual?" Dad said. "Of course, Eeyore." I said.

We left the arena and headed back to my grandparent's house. After a few minutes, we arrived. Grandfather opened the door. "Victoria, you go upstairs and get ready for your celebration dinner, we will hang your medal." Grandmother said. "Yes, Grandmother. " I said. I walked upstairs into my room. I took off my sweatsuit and got into my shower.
