Escape: The New Battle

Chapter 1: Enrollment

"Dear friends, I have invited you to join a meeting on a special mission. It's gonna be filled with danger and risk. Meet me tonight at 5:00 pm. In the back of this card will be your role. You must act like it. My driver will take you to the academy.

-Sincerly, Jaxon"

"Well Jaxon! I'm here to help!" The short brown haired girl said. "This isn't gonna be tiring is it?" The blonde girl said while putting on lipstick. "After ghosting me? Whatever!" The brown boy said while rolling his eyes.

The guests arrived one by one outside the school.

"I'm Gabriella, the artist!" The tall brown haired girl said.

"Im Max, the theater kid." The brown boy said.

"The fashionista's here! It's I Kim!" The blonde girl said.

"Im Ted, the geek." The cyan haired guy said.

"I'm Caryn, the popular." The red head said as she cat walked.

"I'm Todd, the jock!" The brown haired guy who looked like Ted.

"I'm Ria, the book worm!" The bigger, brown haired girl said

"I'm Dan, the band kid." A purple haired guy said.

"Hey everyone! I'm Cassie, the sweetheart!" The blue haired shortie said.

The group stood there for quite a time before finally entering without Jaxon.

Max-C
This is just bad hosting at this point! Where is he.

Dan-C
Jaxon said he'd be here but he isn't?

The group are welcomed by teachers. "Excuse me, have you guys seen Jaxon by any chance?" Cassie said. "He's with the head master! You'll just need to wait." One of the teachers reassured her as they invite them to the teachers office.

"Cassie, I swear your hair was brown?" Max said. "I dyed it!" Cassie said.

Kim-C
Cassie is adorable! She's too pure for the world.

"I thought this was a Collab!" Gabriella said.

Gabriella-C
Look, I was here for a Collab! Not some where's waldo shit!

Ted-C
I was going through some books when I noticed something.

Ted pulls out a note and reads it "the teachers are not what they are. These teachers are doppelgangers who will eat you alive." The group has a concerned look but tries and denies it. "That's not true right?" Caryn said. The teachers come back but seeing the note, attack the group.

The group manages to get out, this time hiding in a classroom. They look around and see someone tied. The group frees the person and it's Jaxon. "Jaxon, what the hell is this?" Todd said. "Why are you guys here?" Jaxon said looking confused as it seems he doesn't know anything as well. "What do you mean? You invited us!" Said Gabriella. "No i didn't." Said Jaxon

Ria-C
Now he's saying he didn't invite us. It's getting confusing.

"Ok well we're getting chased by cannibal teachers and we've gotta do something." Cassie said trying to defuse tension. "Look, last time was my fault and we gotta find clues." Jaxon said. "Last time?" Ted asked.

Jaxon-C
That probably wasn't smart to tell them.

"You said look for clues?" Gabriella asked. "Yeah." Was all Jaxon could say. The group look around for any clues and Ria finds something. "I found a key." She said. The group continues to look until Todd finally reveals something. "Look. I found this at the teacher's lounge." He said. "You only tell us now?" Was all the fashionista could say.

Todd-C
It's better late than never.

"Yeah, what the hell! We've been searching for minutes." Caryn said.

Cassie-C
Maybe he's just shy you know.

The group open the box and see an old book reading "Look at your luck! You've just been trapped in this school and the only way to leave would be to collect 8 of the relic books but beware as each are guarded by an evil where for a book must be traded with a life. The first clue to the first relic book is this book itself. "What? Does this mean we're gonna die?" Dan said. "Jaxon, what did you get us into?" Cassie said.

I don't wanna die! I have fur babies at home.

Ria sees this bookcase where each level is a different colour and one level is missing a red book. She places the red book they read and the bookcase opens. "That's so cool!" Cassie said, admiring the bookcase. Inside is another bookcase having two levels with each with four slots. "So I'm assuming that's where the books go?" Ted said. "I'm scared." Said Gabriella.
