Waking at noon, Deneo thinks about her conversation with Nara earlier this morning, and it makes her fume. She writes Lucky a hot email addressing her concerns.

Hi,

I'm sure you won't even reply to this, but I'm going to vent my anger anyway.

I got a call from Nara this morning. She seems to be under the impression that I want you to leave her and marry me instead?

Firstly, in the draft I sent you on the book I wrote about us, I was taken as a second wife by you, so I never meant to compete with her from the beginning. I know you are committed to her, which is why I thought of defending my case as a second to her, not as a usurper. You denied me in several ways, and I eventually let that go, knowing I would now be taking on my role as the bride of Christ more seriously.

Secondly, I told you from my findings men are taken for granted as being virgins when they get married, so how on Earth could I turn around and break a marriage with someone doubly stained by fornications (both Stormi and Nara)? Your marriage to Nara is not acknowledged by God. I would suggest you study the Word yourself instead of hearing it from bias people like myself. Then figure out what to do next.

I'm done here.

Regards,

Deneo

For two weeks Deneo receives no reply from Lucky. And in Nara's TikTok's they appear as the wholesome favourite internet biracial family loving and unperturbed. Deneo reaches the conclusion he might not have read the email that she sent. Or maybe he has and is good at ignoring moral responsibility - like he did when he was with Stormi. Deneo starts to fear Lucky, not knowing how anyone can flagrantly ignore God's commandments like this. She hadn't sinned that greatly, but God held her up to His impeccable standards, which He, as a man on Earth couldn't even keep! She couldn't understand God's double standards. White men clearly have it a lot easier. She was often tried on petty sins and made to suffer greatly for no reason at all.

God probably is just a bigoted fool who doesn't know what he wants from people. He seems to be enjoying Himself in Lucky's temple with all the tantric demonic sex they have - they can't stay away from each other!

Maya and Lucky laugh at Deneo, jeering at her to leave Lucky alone. Deneo's spirit is crushed, but she fights depression. She cannot let them see her cry. They cannot win.

In a week Deneo sees her doctor and tells her about the incessant hallucinations she's suffering from; how whatever pills she's on, she never stops seeing the two. And that the two are hard to live with. The doctor escalates the issue telling her she will need to attend psychiatric treatment at her nearest hospital. She writes her a referral letter and advises a CT scan be done to get to the root of the problem. She also, however, lets her know they might decide to keep her as a patient there since they have access to better resources. The clinic has done everything possible to manage her symptoms but now it seems the matter must be taken up by higher authorities.

Deneo is devastated. She now needs to go to a government hospital, and Lord knows the horror stories she's heard about Auckland Park Hospital (APH).

Deneo tells Dolly and the latter empathises, informing Deneo she will go with her to doctor's appointments - if push comes to shove and APH takes her on as their patient. Dolly also tells her that as long as she takes her medication, they will have no reason to admit her. Deneo agrees to never stop her medication. She hopes in her heart that this is enough for Maya and Austin since they are the unaccounted for root of her problem.
