Suicide Squad: Save the Batman.

The end (pls read)

So.....I'm about to ship out to basic training next week and I've yet to make even one chapter for you guys, and after basic I'll barley have anytime to focus on this story. So instead, I'm going to post how this story would go down.

1.) Batman starts experimenting with Ivy's toxins and soon finds out how to cure Brainiac's mind control. As he's working on the cure, he gives the SS an anti flash device so they can fight Flash. Near the end of the fight, Flash nearly kills boomerang before Batman and Diana stop him, the latter restraining the Flash while Batman injects the cure into Flash. Batman then takes Flash back to the batcave while Diana and the squad split ways. After the battle Waller was impressed with how Bruce cured the flash.

2.) Diana and the squad are later attacked by Green Lantern, the combatants are barley able to lay a scratch on him. Batman arrives later with the cure only to be restrained by green Lantern himself. Just as all seemed lost, HAWKGIRL arrives and knocks Lantern away from them. Lantern is barley effected but ends up fighting the heroine. HAWKGIRL is later able to inject the cure into Green Lantern, freeing him of the mind control. The heroes soon learn that Lantern was the first to turn before brainiac arrived at earth, having been ambushed by Brainiac. The shields around brainiac's ship go down and Waller sends in a nuke to strike the ship. However, the weapon of destruction is caught by Superman. The league and squad stare in horror upon realizing brainiac has control over Clark now. Clark sends the missile into space with a grin and prepares to engage combat with the heroes before he spots his adopted parents below calling out for him. Clark then kills his adoptive parents without mercy, shocking everyone as a small frown of sadness adorned his face. It was at this moment that Bruce's headaches began to worsen, making him retreat to the batcave.

3.) Harley is worried for Batman and the league tells her and the squad to go find him while they handle Superman. Harley didn't know where the cave was before being contacted by Rick Flag, who tells them the caves location. The squad soon learns that Rick knows the location because he isn't Rick Flag, but Martian Manhunter, who took Rick Flag's place after Batman attacked the squad in the Arkham museum. As the squad nears the base, they realize that the cave is.......empty. Harley gets a static message from Alfred and Ivy to escape while they can, only for communications to stop working. They soon see the many suits Batman wore throughout the years (origins—Arkham knight). Then they see Rick Flag who's unconscious in a cell. Shark notices some smashed up vials and some flipped over furniture. Harley soon spots a vial of the cure in development but not finished yet. When the squad realizes what happened to Batman, gas was released into the air, making the squads face their own personal nightmares.

4.) Harley's nightmare was how easy she turned to good after she lost her chance at getting Joker back, and how easy she could turn evil again if he was alive. Harley is able to fight off her fears for a while, having been infected with Bruce's fear toxin before. Meanwhile the rest of the squad face their nightmares. King Shark starts to fear of how his father was disappointed in him beneath the sea, banishing the young shark and casting him into the dark depths of the ocean to fend for himself. Shark only faces his fears by denying his biological father's acceptance and claiming his only real father was the first King Shark (Assault on Arkham). Boomerang faces the fears of loneliness—his mother and father abandoning him—by accepting that the squad was his family. Deadshot faces his fears of losing his daughter by promising he'll always be there even if it means she won't always be proud of him. The squad soon find themselves fighting off most of the fear toxins effects before facing one final trial. The Demon Bat.
