Ryan watched heartbroken at the sight of Fernando rocking Nicola's dead body back and forth; it had been an hour since the blonde had passed and the coven had been called to gather.
Amber and Marissa were racked with guilt that their spell had come turned on them and caused Nicola's death; they watched as Fernando begged Nicola to wake up but it was too late and the damage had been done.
Adrian cuddled Amber to his side as she cried softly, she had been her only a few hours before and professed that she had used magic against her coven leader; she couldn't believe that this was how it had all ended and she felt responsible.
"Fernando... she's gone," Ryan murmured softly moving forward to comfort his friend, however he could see that Fernando wasn't listening to him; he wasn't sure what would happen now and he feared that the other whitelighter would do something stupid.
Marissa looked at her fiancé as he turned to the others for help, he didn't know what to say to Fernando to comfort him in his loss of Nicola; they had never expected that this would happen and that William would murder Nicola like this.
"Por favor," Fernando murmured holding Nicola to him, he didn't know what he would do now that she was gone; he didn't want to raise their children without her and he had no idea what he would do now that she was gone.
Fernando sobbed softly as he held Nicola to him, the sound of someone teleporting into the room made him glance up at the Angel of Destiny that now stood in the room; he didn't want to deal with anyone else right now after what had happened.
"I'm sorry for your loss Fernando," the Angel of Destiny said looking down at the whitelighter that cradled the dead body of his soul-mate; they had tried hard to prevent this from happening again.
"Bring her back..." Fernando demanded looking at the Angel of Destiny, who shook her head sadly; it wasn't in her powers to mess with Death, this was meant to happen and there was no going back not that it had.
"We are sorry Fernando... but we can't undo death," the Angel of Destiny said making the Spaniard stare at her heartbroken; he couldn't believe that this was how it ended.
However before anyone could comment Lilia, Charlie and Luke orbed into the room looking panicked, the three of them looked sad when they realised what had happened and that they were too late to stop their mother from dying.
Lilia stepped forward watching her father grieve for her mother, she couldn't believe that they had failed and had been too late to save her; Charlie sniffed as she wiped away her own tears, she couldn't believe that her mother was gone.
"We're sorry," Lilia whispered softly making Fernando nod holding Nicola's body, he didn't look at his children as he cried over her body, he felt numb and he couldn't imagine what was going to happen now.
Luke swallowed looking at the Angel of Destiny, they had bigger issues to deal with and he knew that there was no putting them off even after what had happened.
"I think we have bigger problems than this," Luke commented making Fernando glare at his son, he couldn't believe that he didn't seem to care that his mother had just been murdered.
Fernando held onto Nicola, he had no idea what his son was talking about, they didn't need any more trouble after already losing Nicola; he wanted to be able to grieve for his soul-mate for a while.

Neena smirked to herself moving about the graveyard, she couldn't believe that it was going to be this easy; she had waited years for this and now it was finally happening, there was no one there to stop her anymore.
Her eyes rested on the grave in front of her for a moment, she was alone and she doubted that anyone could see the fire that was burning; everyone would be too distracted to care what she was doing now.
"Bone of the father, unwillingly given," Neena murmured dropping the bones that she had dug up from the grave not far to her left into the cauldron.
A crash of thunder overhead made Neena chuckle to herself, she couldn't believe that she was doing this and now there was no one to stop her, Nicola was dead and William was disposed of.
Neena was a little disappointed that she had been forced to get rid of the clone that she had created but it was for the best there was only one man for her and that was Gideon.
"Flesh of the servant, willingly sacrificed," Neena continued cutting off her right hand little finger, she flinched slightly at the pain that she felt; however it was nothing compared to the pain that she had suffered when Gideon had been murdered.
Gideon would make his wonderful return that night and soon the two of them would rule the world and no one was around anymore to stop them.
"Blood of the enemy, forcibly taken," Neena concluded picking up the athame that William had used to kill Nicola, which was still covered in her blood; she smirked before she dropped it into the cauldron as the thunder roared overhead.
"My love it's time to rise again," Neena called before a bolt of lightning crashed into the cauldron throwing her backwards into a grave; Neena stared in shock as she looked back at the cauldron, she wondered if her spell had worked.
Carefully getting back to her feet, Neena brushed some hair from her eyes as she slowly approached the cauldron which had broken into two; she looked around nervously when she realised that there was no one there.
"Don't look so upset my love," said a voice making her smile, Neena turned around to see Gideon standing behind her smirking; the Elder didn't look any different than the last time that she had seen him.
"It has been too long Neena," Gideon greeted making Neena nod as she stared at him in awe, she couldn't believe that she had tampered with Death and brought back the love of her life.
Gideon watched as her blue eyes filled with tears, the last four years had undoubtedly been hard for her like it had been for him; he sighed as he looked around the graveyard. "
Nicola is dead and there is no one to stop us now my love," Neena told him making Gideon purse his lips; he had been watching her for the last four years from the Afterlife and he wasn't impressed with her petty curse, it had taken too long to come in affect and it nearly hadn't worked. "
Thank you... my love, I do have a surprise for you," Gideon mused making Neena smile at him brightly as she moved to his side; the Elder smiled pleasantly at her as he pulled the witch close to his body.
"You have done me proud the last few years Neena... without you Nicola and Fernando would have been unstoppable and now I can steal Charlotte," Gideon continued producing the athame that Neena had used to bring him back; the blonde hugged him completely unaware what the Elder had planned for her until he had driven the athame into her back.
Neena gasped in shock as Gideon held her close to him; closing his eyes he pressed a kiss to her head softly, he was doing what needed to be done.
"However... I have no need for you anymore," Gideon mused allowing Neena to drop to the floor bleeding heavily.
Neena stared at him horrified as she realised that he had used her, Gideon smirked as he orbed away leaving Neena to die; he had little care for what happened to the witch now that he was alive.
