"I'm honoured to introduce you to, Mr. and Mrs. Torres Matthews," Joanna murmured watching Nicola kiss her new husband eagerly, they had kept the promise about getting married.

The couple had waited a couple of weeks before retying the knot, they had wanted nothing more than to get married again; Nicola wanted to be Nicola Torres and she didn't see any reason to slow things down.

Alexandria clapped smiling at Henry, who was stood by her side; the former couple watched as their daughter happily married her soul-mate again after so long again.

Nicola pulled away from Fernando, who grinned as he looked at his wife, he couldn't believe that they were married again; he knew that he owed Merlin and The Tribunal big time for getting Nicola back.

"I love you, Mrs. Torres," Fernando whispered wrapping his arms around her, Nicola smiled and kissed him softly as her grandmother stepped down from the altar and moved to stand with Nicola's parents.

Nicola had opted to wear a cream knee-length jersey dress paired with ivory lace and diamante strappy heeled sandals, she had wanted nothing more than to have a change on her second wedding day.

"And I love you, Mr. Torres," Nicola replied as their children cheered in happiness, they clapped as they watched their mother and father kiss; no one was more pleased than them that things has worked out.

Fernando and Nicola had been through so much and they finally had the chance to get their happy ending; they wanted nothing more than for things to stay that way.

"I do believe that a congratulation's is in order," Henry mused wrapping his arm around Alexandria, who stared at him oddly as Fernando held Nicola in his arms; the two smiled at her father before he led Alexandria away.

"You think he'll tell her?" Fernando murmured kissing down Nicola's neck making her nod, she knew that her father didn't want to be parted from her mother anymore; though she wasn't surprised, they had been a part for far too long.

"I know he will... she'll find it odd if she attempts to return to the afterlife and can't," Nicola mused making her husband chuckle and nod as he kissed her neck softly, he doubted that he would ever be able to let her go.

Joanna rolled her eyes walking out of the room, leaving the family alone as Nora quickly walked up to her mother; things had been crazy since Nicola had come home and they all hoped that it would settle down soon.

"Mama you look beautiful," Lucas said making Nicola move to pick him up; she couldn't believe that she had been given a second chance at being here with her family.

Fernando smiled as he cuddled Charlotte and Nora to him for a moment, he watched his wife; he didn't know what he would ever do without her.

"So Mr. Torres... what are we going to do now?" Nicola asked with a smile on her face, making Fernando chuckle as he smiled at her for a moment; he wondered how he had been so lucky to find someone like her.

"I have a few ideas Mrs. Torres..." Fernando said with a grin as he stood up and moved to cuddle her again, he knew how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

"Abuela... what happened next?" a little girl asked making an elderly Nicola laugh lightly as an aging Fernando wrapped his arm around her; their youngest grand-daughter looked at them innocently.

It was hard to think that forty years had passed since they had remarried and things had gone from strength to strength; they had gotten what they had wanted, a peaceful life together.

"We lived happily ever after... but you already know that Cassandra," Fernando teased to the little girl, who smiled up at her grandfather; Nicola opened her mouth to speak as three of her older grandchildren rushed into the house.

Fernando raised an eyebrow, he loved having his grandchildren around and he knew that their parents were all at work; the summer holidays were his favourite time of year even if he and Nicola were kept busy.

"Sorry Abuela, Abuelo... we need the book," Alexia called hurrying up the stairs followed by her twin brothers, Ryan and Adrian; Fernando and Nicola watched them disappear upstairs.

The couple had been married for forty years and they couldn't be happier, their three children had all flown the nest and now had families of their own.

Fernando and Nicola blessed each day that they got to spend with each other, their three children, their nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Nicola smiled feeling Fernando squeeze her waist as Cassandra tilted her head as she looked at her grandparents; she couldn't believe that things were so crazy and she hoped that it would never change.

"Will I find someone like you found Abuela?" Cassandra asked softly, she tilted her head watching her grandparents wanting a happy ending like they had and she knew that she would wait forever for that.

Nicola smile as she looked at Fernando, she was sure that she would find her soul-mate; all of Nicola and Fernando's children had found their soul-mates and it seemed to be a blessing that things were working out so well.

"In time Cassie," Nicola replied while Fernando kissed the top of his head as Cassandra smiled before she climbed down from her spot and hurried to join her siblings in whatever they were doing.

Nicola turned and kissed Fernando softly making him smile, she was happy and she knew that it would be a few hours yet before their children arrived to pick up the grandchildren.

"I love you, Nicola..." Fernando whispered making his wife smile as he kissed him; she didn't know what she ever would have done without him and she was happy that it had all worked out for them.

"I love you too, Fernando," Nicola replied making Fernando chuckle as he kissed her softly again, it didn't matter what had happened in the past now that they were here with each other; all that mattered was that they had finally gotten what they had wanted out of life.
