Lady Featherington during her birth was expecting one little girl but by her surprise she gave birth to twins. Meet Penelope's younger twin sister and the youngest Featherington daughter. Pearl Featherington the light of the Featherington household.
Days went by and Colin is still teaching Penelope how to woo men. Pearl has been along for the ride, but it has gotten Colin and Pearl much closer together. Pearl was at the Bridgerton household enjoying tea with Lady Danbury, Francesca, and Lady Bridgerton. "I have some news. It seems that The Queen isn't finished with the season just yet. She is still looking for the Diamond of the Season. I think this year there maybe be the Jewel of the Season and the Diamon of the Season. She wants something unique and different." Violet smiled at this and looked at the girls and whispered to Lady Danbury, "What if the girls did a duet? Pearl is an excellent singer with Francesca's piano playing." Lady Danbury was excited by this news. Then someone walked into the parlor and all ladies turned to see Colin walking in. "Pearl? Are you ready?" Colin asked. Pearl nodded, grabbing all of her things then looked at Violet and said, "Thank you for the tea, Lady Bridgerton." Violet smiled at the girl and the two walked away arm in arm to meet Penelope.
They get to the farmers market as they wait for Penelope's arrival. Pearl decided to go grab something as Penelope and Colin talked about her lessons. As she followed, being close to Penelope and Colin when she heard whispers. "Do you think I will have a chance with Pearl?" Penelope looked at Colin and said, "I certainly do believe so. You are charming and the Ton thinks you'll make a great couple. I would suggest getting her daisy to swoop her off her feet. Those are her favorite flowers." Colin chuckled at the memory and said, "I do remember that yes. She wore Daisy dresses for a whole year. Wearing them proudly made your mother furious. But my mother helped her found more as your mother despised the color white." The two giggled as Colin bought some flowers for Pearl. "Thank you, Colin. For everything." Penelope said.
After Pearl heard this, she saw Colin coming to her and chose to pretend not to hear the conversation between him and her sister. He walked over to her with the daisy behind his back as Penelope walked away with Rae heading back to the Featherington home. Pearl found something for the dress she was currently making when Colin showed her the daisy. "A beautiful flower for a gorgeous lady." Pearl blushed at this comment and said, "Thank you. So how was the talk with my sister?" Colin walked beside her and said, "She believed she didn't have the charm the ladies now a days have. But I told her a memory of us when we were children." Pearl giggled as she fiddled with the flower and said, "I best be off. Thank you for helping Penelope." Colin smiled, taking her hand, and giving it a soft kiss, making her cheeks go red.
She arrived back home and quickly went back to work on her dress when her mother came in and said, "Pearl, um Violet's mother wanted to tell you that Colin added another favorite color. Green. Do you have any idea what that is meaning." Pearl smiled to herself and nodded to her mother.
