Third POV

Y/n dragged herself back to her room after talking to Ego. She was worn out and just wanted to sleep. After taking a shower and getting ready for bed, she plopped down.

Throwing an arm over her eyes, she let out a heavy sigh that turned into a groan. She turned onto her side, looking out the window at the forest that surrounded the Blue Lock facility. Her mind wandered, thinking of what her mother was doing, her friends, her colleagues.

She knew that her mother missed her, she snickered softly. Ananya was an open book that y/n had learned to read at a very young age. But her friends? Did they even realize she was gone?

She groaned, standing up and walking to the window, laying her forehead on the glass. She stayed, lost in her thoughts for a few more hours. She looked over at the clock on her bedside table.

The blinding, red 3:45 practically screamed at her to go to bed. She ignored them, instead opting to walk around the facility again. This time her feet led her to the studio.

An eye twitched as she thought of the players again. She walked around the studio, running her hand along the wall. As she was walking, her hand hit a groove, which caused her to pull her hand back quickly and look at the wall.

She noticed that there was an outline of a door, in the wall? She pushed on it gently, holding her breath. The door swung open revealing a small, beautiful personal studio. She giggled softly, walking in and looking around.

It looked exactly like the studio Ego had, had built when she was younger. Y/n sighed happily, throwing off her shoes and moving around softly. Her movements sliced through the air as though she was part of it.

They soon escalated into actual choreography(start video at beginning. y/n is the girl in white pants in the beginning and the girl in all black later on), something that just erupted from her soul. She moved freely and beautifully. Her eyes closed and her hair fell, framing her face instead of covering it.

She completed every movement with power and grace. She was so engrossed in her dance that she didn't notice when two of the players walking into the studio, seeing the door to her personal studio open, and walking over out of curiosity.

They were met with her swan-like movements, gliding across the floor. Both of their breaths hitched. They were afraid that making one movement, one sound, would break the spell she seemed to be under.

She continued, eventually hitting the ending pose and falling to the ground, her adrenaline high slowly going down. She breathed heavily, looking at the ceiling, still not noticing the two watching her.

That was the first time anyone in Blue Lock, besides Ego, of course, had seen her smile. The two boys felt an arrow pierce their chests simultaneously. Her smile was beautiful, especially since the lights mixing with her sweat made it seem like she was glowing.

Neither of them initially understood why she never smiled, and now they were even more confused on the matter. But, they had found a new respect for the sport SHE so loved.

The first boy started clapping softly. The second quickly following suit. Their clapping slowly becoming louder and more intense. Y/n sat up, turning around to see them. Her eyes widened in surprise as her smile fell and a blush spread across her face.

She quickly scrambled to stand up, pulling her hair in front of her face in embarrassment. She had seen that the boys were Isagi and Bachira, the ones Chigiri had told her about earlier that day. She glared half-heartedly at them.

Isagi was the first to break the unbearable silence, "That was.....amazing!" Bachira nodded along with his friend, smiling brightly at the small girl. Y/n stood, speechless. She was still trying to process everything and subsequently failing.

Her eyes flickered around the room, landing on the clock which now said 4:26. She turned to them, a sinister smirk now forming. "You two have to wake up in about one and a half hours. Why are you up wandering?"

They both panicked, running out of the room to go get at least some precious sleep before having to endure another day of hell.

She chuckled lowly, walking out of the room after them and towards her room. On the way, she ran into Chigiri. He asked her if she was alright. To which she responded with a sneer.

"Mind your damn business....asshole."
