3 Incredible Months Later

Baby girl turned 3 months yesterday. I'm on maternity leave until Milan turns 8 months old. I still get paid while I'm not at work so that's the good thing. Mersades senior year is almost over and the girls sophomore year is almost over. Melo turns 3 in 2 months and my 21st birthday is in a month. After Kennedy and Caston wedding , me and Quan decided we gone start planning ours. Javon moved out about 2 1/2 months ago and lives about an hour away from us. Kennedy and Caston's wedding is a month away and I'm still helping her every step of the way. Milan goes to the same daycare as Melo so that way I don't have to go to two different places.

I woke up and rolled over and seen it was 10:14AM. I sighed and threw the covers from over my body before getting up.I walked into the bathroom and handled my business before running the shower water. I peeled my clothes off of my body and threw them in the dirty clothes hamper. I hopped in the shower and just sat there letting the hot water roam my body. I grabbed my wash cloth and body wash and squirted some on there before rubbing it all over my body. After washing every part of my body I rinsed my body off before turning the water off. I hopped out and stepped on the rug before grabbing my towel and drying off. I wrapped it around my body and walked to the sink to do my morning duties. After I was finished , I walked in my room and seen Melo laying in my bed watching cartoons. I shook my head before grabbing my lotion and lotioning down my body. I grabbed my bra and boy shorts and put it on before sliding on my denim ripped capris. I grabbed my red belt and inserted it in each loop before buckling it up. I grabbed my black tank top and slid it over my head. I grabbed my deodorant and rolled some on each arm pit before grabbing my black and red aztec designed cardigan and sliding it on. I walked over to my vanity and applied my foundation , eyeliner , mascara , and light eye shadow. I grabbed my black lipstick and rolled it on my lips before putting on my jewelry. I walked into the bathroom and grabbed my comb and unwrapped my long black hair that was straight. I walked back in my room and slid on my black oxfords. I grabbed my red MK bag and phone and told Melo to get out my room. We walked downstairs and Cameron had Milan in her arms. I told her I was gone and for her to watch Melo and Milan. I hopped in my black charger since I had gave Cameron my coupe for her 16th birthday and hooked my phone up to the blue tooth. I dialed Kennedy's number and waited for her to pick up the phone.

"Hello ?" she answered.

"Hey , you ready ?" I asked

"Yeah." she replied

"Alright , well , I'm leaving the house now." I said as I drove out the driveway

"Okay." she responded before I clicked the end button and turned my playlist on.

After driving for about 35 minutes , I had picked Kennedy up and we were on the way to meet with the photographer lady again. I pulled into an empty parking spot and turned the car off. I grabbed my purse and phone and hopped out. I hit the locks on the car and threw them in my purse. we walked towards the entrance of the building and pushed the door open before walking in. We stopped at the front desk before proceeding to the back where the lady , Suzannah , was.

"Hey girls." she said smiling at us while on her computer. We smiled and waved back at her. "What can I do for you two now ?" she asked looking at us. We had to discuss certain shots that Kennedy wanted to be took and we went through the package again before leaving. After we left there , we went to the studio and went over the playlist with the DJ again making sure he had EVERYTHING we wanted to be played and the mix the had thrown in there. When we left the studio , we went to the wedding planner and made sure she sent off the wedding invitations to everyone. We decided to take a break and go get some food before heading to the newspaper stand. We handed the lad a picture of Caston & Kennedy so she could put their wedding in the newspaper. After doing that , we went to the dress shop so she could fit the dress for the last time. Her dress was mad gorgeous and she looked beautiful in it. She was going to stay at the house tonight so we could call everyone who hasn't RSVP yet and contact the wedding party about the wedding rehearsal. After we left the dress shop , we drove to the court house so that she could pick up her and Caston's marriage license. After leaving the court house it was 3:48 and we headed to the salon and confirmed everything with them before paying them along with going to see the vendors. We headed to the store and bought all the brides maid gifts before heading to the car rental place and giving the man the directions to bring the car. She wanted her bridesmaids along with the groomsmen to ride in a limbo so we headed to the limbo service place and reserved it for that night. Since Quan was the best man and I was the maid of honor , they rented us a red camaro convertible to drive that night. After doing the transportation , we paid all the final payments on everything then went to the catering company to give them a head count on guests. It was around 6:53 PM when we left the catering company. We headed back to the house and everybody was gone. I shot Mersades a text.
