Lexi POV

I walked down the hall and walked into Melo's room so I could wake him up. I pulled the covers from over his body before shaking him gently and after a few seconds he popped up.

"It's time to get ready for school baby." I stated looking down at him. He sighed before hopping out of his bed and walked into the bathroom closing the door behind him. I smiled before walking out his room and walking into Milan's room to wake her up but she was already up and in the bathroom. I shook my head at her. Milan's always been the one that was excited about school. After a couple years , she's not going to like school at all. I walked a couple more rooms down until I reached Carter's room and walked over to his baby bed. I picked him up and tossed him on my hip before walking into his bathroom in his room. I sat him on the counter and grabbed his wash cloth. I turned the hot water on along with a little cold and placed the wash cloth under the water getting the whole cloth wet. Once I got it fully wet , I wiped his face making sure to get all the crust out his eyes. I placed the wash cloth on the edge of the tub and opened the mirror to grab his toothpaste. I grabbed his toothbrush out the toothbrush holder and ran it under the water. After I ran it under the water , I placed some toothpaste onto the brush before running it under the water again. Once I finished rinsing it , I gave it to him and he started brushing his baby teeth. I smiled at him and snapped a picture. Once he was finished , we walked back into his room and I grabbed his outfit off his dresser. I slid his khaki joggers up his tiny legs before sliding his black ankle socks on his feet. I reached for his red Nike shirt with the black Nike sign and pulled it over his head. I walked over to his closet and pulled his black Nike Roshes out of his box and slid his foot inside of them before tying them up. I picked his curly hair out before snapping a picture of him. I smiled before we walked out into Milan's room. She was watching TV and wasn't dressed. I shook my head and walked over to her.

"Why aren't you dressed Milan ?" I asked sitting down on her bed grabbing her outfit

"Sorry mama. I was trying to watch Dora." she stated. I shook my head and pulled her black tanktop over her head. I picked up her white floral v-neck and slid it over her head before pulling her black capris up her leg. I grabbed her white vans and slid them onto her foot before combing out her beautiful straighten hair. I smiled at my baby girl before placing her earrings into her ear. Carter had left and went into my bedroom to wake up Quan. I looked her over before she grabbed her book bag and walked out the room down the spiral staircase . Melo wasn't in his room as I was walking back to mine , so I'm guessing he was already downstairs. Once I reached my bedroom , I seen it was now 7:12 AM. I walked over to my recliner in Quan and I room and pulled my sweat pants off the chair before slipping them up my legs in place. I grabbed my white crewneck sweater and slid it over my head pulling my hair into a messy bun before slipping my Nike slides onto my feet. Quan was downstairs with the kids once I reached the bottom stair. We walked outside and I took all three of their pictures together before we loaded up. We dropped Carter off first since he was the closest. Once we dropped Carter off , we headed to the elementary school so we could drop Milan off. I shedded a few tears as I said good bye to my baby before we headed to the middle school. I can't believe Melo is a 5th grader this year. I hugged him tightly as we was outside his classroom. I kissed his forehead before he walked inside his classroom linking up with a group of boys that I assumed were his friends. As we was walking back to the truck , Cody texted me.

-Awee💋. I wish we wasn't so far away and we would come see you guys😔. I guess I'll have to wait until November to see my putawuda😒. Congratulations lil brodie😘. Tell my ace boon coon that I said congratulations and for her to enjoy every moment of this because they grow up F A S T👌. I love you guys and I will see y'all soon😜.
