Kavya sat on the edge of her hospital bed, her fingers absently tracing the outline of her tattoo. The pulsing warmth she felt earlier had faded, leaving her with an unsettling mix of hope and doubt. Navya had left the room to speak with the doctors, giving Kavya a moment to herself. The sterile walls of the hospital room closed in on her, making her feel trapped, disconnected from the world she knew-both the one she remembered from before the accident and the one from her vivid dreams.

She reached for the tray beside her bed, where Navya had left a few things to keep her occupied-some magazines, a bottle of water, and the day's newspaper. Kavya flipped through the newspaper, trying to distract herself from the turmoil in her mind.

But then, her heart nearly stopped. Her eyes froze on a headline in the society section:

**"Madhav Malhotra Announces Engagement to Meena Malhotra: The Childhood Sweethearts Reunite!"**

Kavya's breath hitched, and the world seemed to tilt around her. There, on the front page, was a photograph of Madhav, looking just as she remembered him from her dream, standing beside a beautiful woman-Meena Malhotra. They were smiling, arms wrapped around each other, and the caption underneath detailed their upcoming engagement ceremony.

**Madhav... engaged?**

Kavya's mind raced, struggling to make sense of it all. This was the man she had shared such an intense, soul-deep connection with. The man she had unlocked ancient powers with, faced unimaginable challenges alongside, and loved with every fiber of her being. Yet, here he was, engaged to another woman.

Her hand shook as she held the newspaper, the reality of the situation crashing down on her. If this engagement was real, if Madhav was truly with Meena, then everything she had experienced-everything she felt-had it all been nothing more than a cruel dream?

But no. The connection she felt to Madhav couldn't be dismissed as mere fantasy. The tattoo, the warmth she felt when she touched it-it was real. Her powers were real. And somehow, she knew that Madhav was the key to it all. She couldn't let this go, couldn't just accept that their bond had been a figment of her imagination.

**I have to find him. I have to know the truth.**

A fierce determination rose within her, igniting a fire she hadn't felt in a long time. The hospital room, the doctors, Navya's concerns-none of it mattered right now. All that mattered was finding Madhav, understanding what had happened, and reclaiming the love she knew was theirs.

Kavya quickly swung her legs over the side of the bed, her body protesting the sudden movement. But she didn't care. The urgency within her drowned out any physical discomfort. She needed to see Madhav, to speak with him, to look into his eyes and confirm that the connection they shared was real.

Navya returned just as Kavya was struggling to stand. "Kavi, what are you doing? You need to rest!"

"I can't, Navya," Kavya replied, her voice stronger than it had been since she woke up. "I need to leave. I need to find him."

"Find who?" Navya asked, rushing to her side to support her.

"Madhav," Kavya said, holding up the newspaper. "He's engaged, Navya. I have to see him, to understand what's going on."

Navya looked at the newspaper, her expression conflicted. "Kavi, please... I'm worried about you. You just woke up after two years. You need to take things slowly."

But Kavya shook her head, her eyes blazing with resolve. "Navya, I can't just sit here. I know you don't understand, but I have to do this. Please... help me."

Navya hesitated, clearly torn between wanting to protect her sister and knowing how stubborn Kavya could be once she set her mind on something. Finally, she sighed and nodded. "Alright, but we'll do this my way. I'll get the doctor to discharge you, and we'll go together. But you have to promise me you'll listen to your body and take it easy."

Kavya nodded, relieved. "Thank you, Navya. I promise."

As Navya left to arrange the discharge, Kavya sat back down, her mind racing with possibilities. She didn't know what she would say to Madhav when she saw him, or how she would explain everything that had happened. But one thing was certain-she wouldn't give up on him, or on the love they shared. No matter what, she would fight for their connection, their bond. Because deep down, she knew that their story was far from over.

The fire within her burned brighter with each passing moment. She would find Madhav, and together, they would unravel the mysteries that bound them, even if it meant challenging the very fabric of reality itself.
