To Florentine, March was a whirlwind of different emotions and situations with some even seeming too good to be true.

As predicted, Carlos was not able to participate in the following Grand Prix and Florentine was the first he announced it to. That was the first thing he thought of as the pain medication finally settled and he had a slighty clearer head after his appendix removal.

He did so over a text message that was followed up by a picture of him right after the surgery. The male had joked about how his mother really knew how to take good pictures of him and Florentine laughed out loud, alerting her friend Perrie of how someone else was holding the French girl's attention.

Florentine had been introduced to the other woman by Brad, obviously, and despite the Blonde being as much of a British pop star as Brad, having sung with a band called Little Mix, she quickly grew to be someone Florentine really enjoyed having around. No matter how long the two went without seeing each other. They shared the same foul humour.

"Earth to Flo... excuse me darling", Perrie joked, snapping her fingers in front of the other's face and with that Florentine immediately placed her phone back on the table, a sheepish grin on her face. Perrie squinted her eyes, taking a sip of her wine before a knowing chuckle escaped her lips.

"Oh how glad I am that my mans is taking care of Axel today, give me all the dirty details babes", she exclaimed, leaning closer over the table to not alert the other guests of the restaurant they were currently in. Florentine let out a laugh in disbelief, seeing the older woman, a mother, so giddy and excited with child-like joy sparkling in her blue eyes.

Telling her all about how Carlos and Florentine had met, up until what the Spaniard had just sent her over WhatsApp confirmed what the girl kind of already knew. She really liked him. And as Perrie spoke the exact same words both Brad and Carmen had used respectfully to describe what the French and the Spaniard had, a smile had overtaken Florentine's features and it seemed like it never left her face.

When Carlos came back to the sport, racing the Australian Grand Prix towards the end of March, Florentine was ecstatic, jumping up from Brad's couch with a shrill shout that even startled the singer. At first, the girl was not a fan of his decision to go back this soon, worrying for the still healing wound. She had berated the male over the phone multiple times, feeling better when Carlos had revealed his mother had felt the same, but seeing him drive and winning the race, all her doubts were put to rest.

She was also incredibly excited for Lando and Charles and Brad was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the girl had gotten into the sport. Commentating every turn, seemingly overflowing with knowledge that she most likely picked up in the morning as she scarfed down her breakfast and scrolled through various instagram posts. Bradley knew her too well and almost took pride in how easy it was to turn her into a fan, even if it wasn't his merit.
