"Mal, please, over here! Cleo!" Reporters call bringing Mal out of her daydream.

"Only three days to the Royal Cotillion," A lady says before holding out her microphone to Cleo.

"Ever think a girl like you would be Lady of the Court?" A girl asks before holding out a recording device to Mal.

"How does it feel to be the second most envied girls in Auradon right after Cleo?" A guy asks them and Mal tries to talk.

"Well, do you like being blonde?" Another lady asks.

"Mal, is your mother still a lizard?" The first lady asks causing both girls to glare at her.

"Okay. All right. Excuse me," Ben says as he makes his way through the reporters.

"Uh, we will let you know if and when that particular situation changes." Ben wraps an arm around Mal's waist as Cleo takes a couple of steps away from the couple, and just checks her nails.

"Did you ever think either of you would be with a Villain Kid?" The first lady asks Cleo and Ben causing Ben to fake chuckle and Cleo to glare at her.

"We're done here," Ben tells her with a smile.

"Okay. Shush, shush. Shoosh, shoosh. Shoosh, shoosh. This is still a school, so if you're here, you're either skipping or trespassing," Fairy Godmother says as she comes to stand in front of the couple.

Cleo lets out a sigh as she takes this chance to escape, but she is pulled back over by Jade and Alexander. And Mal is pulled away by Evie.

"If we don't do a fitting for your gown right this minute, you'll be dancing in your bathrobe, okay?" Evie tells Mal, tugging her along.

Jade grabs Cleo's arm, pulling her with equal urgency. "Come on, Cleo, I need you for a dress fitting." Jade glances at Ben briefly. "Hi," she says quickly before turning back to Cleo. "Let's go, let's go," Evie chimes in, already moving toward the fitting room with Mal in tow.

"Bye, Ben," Mal says as Evie drags her away.

"Bye," Ben says with a smile as she leaves.

"King Ben! King Ben! King Ben!" The reporters say as they swarm him.

"Uh..." Jade says as Cleo pulls her shoulders back.

"Oh!" Jade zips up the dress. "Okay, Jade, I cannot breathe."

"Well, you can breathe after Cotillion," Jade tells her,
adjusting the dress. Alexander is beside Jade, fumbling with his tie. "Merlin knows you've fit into tinier dresses."

"Well, I sincerely doubt that. I have at least 20 more events lined up, and I can't even remember what a single one of them is," Cleo says as Jade fluffs the bottom of her dress.

"Impeccable," Jade declares, stepping back to admire her work. Cleo glances at the mirror and then at Alexander, who is still struggling with his tie.

"Alexander? Jade?" Cleo asks.

"Hmm?" Jade responds as Cleo fixes the final details.

"Do you ever think about what you would be doing if you were back at our Palaces right now?" Cleo asks, and she sees Jade nod thoughtfully.

"That's funny," Alexander says sarcastically before the royal news comes on. "Ah! Look who's on TV." The news shows Cleo, Alexander, and Jade attending a royal banquet with King Phillip and Aurora.

"As the royal continue their tour of the kingdom, they dined with King Phillip and Queen Aurora," the reporter says. They show Jade nearly spilling her drink, saved by Alexander's quick reflexes, causing Cleo and Jade to laugh as Cleo nudges her. "Six months ago, no one thought Alexander would be preparing for a date with someone from the royal court."
