You stare down at the test sheet one last time before handing it over to the teacher and walking out.

Truth be told, you didn't study well for the first semester exams, all because of the stress from the murdering accident, and not keeping in contact with your family.

But now that the exams are finished, you can finally go home and spend the three week vacation of the first semester with your family.

You gave your address to Evander after he asked if he could come and visit you, and he did the same if you are coming to visit him.

"How was school, sweetheart?"

This is the first question your father asks after he and your mother drive you back home.

"Horrible, I want to move away"

Atticus is surprised by your responsd while your mother sighs.

"Is it because of the accident?" Eloise asks, finding out about the accident from the headmaster.

"Yes, and also I'm uncomfortable with the atmosphere in the school" You add.

Atticus gives his wife a look before looking at you again with a warm smile.

"Your mother and I will discuss this matter later and we will see what we could do, but for now, you should enjoy your vacation" 

You shook your head at them, crossing your arms over your chest in annoyance.

"No, dad, I want to transfer to another school and I want to happen before the end of this vacation"

Eloise placed a hand on your arm, her voice softening.

"We understand your feelings, but let's not make any rash decisions, let's enjoy the holidays together, and we can discuss this more calmly after, you need time to rest and heal, not to worry about school."

Atticus doesn't agree with his wife's attitude, as he know is determined to know what is going with you.

"Did someone try to molest or bully you?"

"What? No... Yes I did get bullied at school, but nobody molested me" you assure him.

"What is the name of the boy who bullied you, I will make sure he pays. " Atticus demands.

"There is no need because he was the boy found dead at my school"

"Deserved, I supposd" 

This caught you and you mother off guard as Atticus seems happy that the boy is dead.

Eloise raises an eyebrow at her husband, already feeling that he is strangely familiar with this attitude.

Noticing the atmosphere becoming tense, Atticus decided to announce something.

"I have decided to take my time off from work and spend my free time with you, so I made some arrangements"

"What are those arrangements?"

To be completely honest, you don't wish to do any activities on your vacation because you wish to enjoy your time in the comfort of your bed, reading books.

"We are going on a yacht trip, my friend, Ryan invited us, isn't this amazing?" Atticus asks you.

Not wanting to disappoint your father, you give him a forced happy smile.

"Yeah, this is amazing"

Atticus, smiles at you, patting your head in approval.

"It's settled, we'll leave in a few days, pack your bags and get ready."
