Diandra's POV

It's been a  few days after moving back into my old room with Jon, I found it tough at first. Each morning, Jon would smile and say, “Good morning, Di. We’re in this together,” which helped me feel less alone.

One morning, while I was still in my room somone knocked on my door and opened and saw Trixy

“Mom, can we have breakfast together?”she asked and I smiled

“I’d love that, Trixy,” I replied, feeling grateful for the newfound freedom. Thanks to the new lift Colby and Jon had installed, I could move between floors independently.

Little moments like these, spending time with the kids or just being able to move around on my own, were helping me heal.

I watched Trixy, Destiny and Thundra help April with the twins. Their laughter filled the room, and it warmed my heart to see them so happy. It reminded me that life was still moving forward, even if I felt stuck sometimes.

“You’re doing great, girls,” April said, adjusting Bruce’s bib. “Just keep them upright while you feed them.”

Destiny puffed out her cheeks and crossed her eyes, making Bruce giggle. “Look, Bruce likes it when I make silly faces!”

I chuckled softly. It felt good to laugh again, even if just a little. Jon walked in, catching the sound of my laughter, and I saw his face light up with a smile.

“Good morning, everyone,” Jon said, kissing me on the forehead. “What’s all this fun about?”

“Morning, Daddy!” Trixy and Destiny chimed together, looking up from the twins.

"We are helping mommy feeding Bruce and Wanda"Thundra said

"And Bruce likes my funny faces"Destiny said doing it again

Jon laughed. “You girls are amazing helpers."and the girls smiled"How about a little adventure today?”

“An adventure?” I asked, feeling a bit nervous.

Jon sat beside me, holding my hand gently. “I was thinking maybe a trip to the park. It’s a beautiful day, and some fresh air might do us all good especially the little once. What do you think?”

I hesitated, the thought of going out making me anxious. “I don’t know, Jon. I only have been out in the backyard I'm scared"

Jon squeezed my hand, his eyes full of understanding. “I get it, Di. But we don’t have to stay long. We can leave whenever you want. Just a change of scenery might help you feel a bit better.”

April chimed in with a soft smile. “It’s okay to be scared, Di. But remember, we’re all here with you. We’ll be right by your side, every step of the way.”

“And the park is close by. No pressure at all. If it gets too much, we can come back home.”Out of know here came Colby

" Oh my brother you scared me"I said and everyone laughed a bit

Trixy and Destiny looked at me with hopeful eyes. “Please, Mommy?” Trixy asked softly. “We want to go with you.”

I looked at their eager faces and sighed, feeling my resistance start to fade. I didn’t want to disappoint them, and I knew staying cooped up inside wasn’t helping me.

“Alright. I’ll try. But if I’m not comfortable, we come back. No arguments.”I said

Jon smiled, relief washing over his face. “Deal. At your pace, always.”

We got ready, and Jon helped me into my wheelchair, guiding me to the lift so that I could change

After everyone was ready we saw mum and dad putting some stuff in the car and the kids helping them.I could not believe how much they grew and because of my selfishness how much I have lost.
