Chapter 4 Part 2

You and your mom left the apartment and made your way to the station. As you were about to open the door to go into the kitchen, you took a deep breath.

"Are you sure you want to do this? We can go if you don't want to" Maya asked looking at you

"No, I want to do this. I just, I need a breath" You replied.
"Come on, let's go in" You added

You and Maya both walked in and seen everyone sat at the table. Travis walked up to you both and pulled you in for a hug.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Travis asked the both of you. You both nodded. He pulled away from the hug and sat down at the table. Everyone was quiet, not knowing what to say.

"Do you want to sit?" Carina asked

"No, i'm fine standing. This shouldn't take long" You said taking a deep breath.

"I'm not going to sugar coat anything, I'm just going to tell you all how it is. I think it's absolutely disgusting how you've all treated me and mom. Trying to stop her from seeing me, restraining her, sedating me against my will. And all of you just sat back and let it happen. How dare you all! You're supposed to be our family but that night, you were far from it. And what's even worse is, you can't even bring you-selves to apologise. Shame on you, I thought you were all better than that! I miss you all, I really do but i'm so incredibly hurt and heartbroken by you all. And mama, I know what i've just said has hurt you, I know it's hurt all of you emotionally but that's what you done to me physically, mentally and emotionally, and mom. What happened to being a family and looking out for each-other? You've just thrown me and mom under a bus with no care in the world"

Everyone sat there silent. Maya took the opportunity to speak.

"Your all the family I got and you all know that. It breaks my heart knowing that I thought I could count on you all, but it breaks my heart even more when you all just stood there. Hearing Lucia having a panic attack and cry out then proceeded to restrain me and her sedated. What family does that? I thought you would all have at least some decency to ask if Lucia was okay and to apologise to her but the only person who had the decency here is Travis, who apologised to both me and Lucia. Like Lucia said, we miss you all. We really do but what happened that night, it's not a night I will ever forget".

"I hope you're happy and proud of yourselves. Cause honestly, as much as I miss and love you all, I don't think I can be apart of a family that would do that. You included mama" You added

"Wait what?" Carina asked as streams of tears fell from her face.

"Please don't say that" Andy said with a tear falling from her cheek.

"I mean it, I don't know if I can be apart of a family that's does that. You've got no one else to blame other than yourselves." Tears started to form in your eyes as you realised what you had said. You didn't regret saying it, it just hit you and it hit you hard. Your mom could see you on the verge of tears so she pulled you away.

"Do you want to go?" Maya asked placing her hands on your cheeks.

"No, I want them to see what they've done" You replied as the tears started falling out of your eyes. You just stood there and sobbed. Maya pulled you in for a tight hug.

Everyone sat at the table and all realised how deeply hurt you were. They all had tears rolling down their faces. They waited until you had stopped crying before they said anything. You and your mom walked back over. They all stood up. You quickly jumped in

"No, don't stand up. Sit back down, you doing that gives me anxiety and I don't fancy passing out today" You said with a little chuckle.

"Glad to see you still got your sense of humour Kiddo" Travis said with a smile on his face. You laughed a little.
