—Sunshine— she whispered, stifling her laughter as she peeked into her office.

—Ryujin?— she asked, directing her gaze towards her – —What's going on?— she laughed upon seeing her friend's face.

—Mr. Hwang's daughter came to see me— she said quietly, moving closer, and Yuna understood – —Imagine, she just graduated from law school and expected me to assign her a case. Can you believe it?— Yuna nodded; it was very common for beginners to want that – —And not only that, it seems she's used to getting everything she wants.—

—That will be a problem, especially with you— Yuna said with a gesture – —What did you tell her?—

—I told her to give these folders to Mino— she replied – —I don't know what to do with her. I'm too busy to deal with a spoiled rich kid.—

—I see you weren't very pleasant with her— Yuna laughed, and Ryujin made a face.

—I swear I tried— Ryujin laughed sincerely.

...

—Mino?— Yeji asked once she arrived at the office with a plaque bearing his name. The man swiveled in his rolling chair.

—Mino, forensic lawyer. How can I help you?— he smiled kindly.

—Yeah, um, I'm Hwang Yeji, Mr. Hwang Jinwoo's daughter, as you may have noticed— she replied not very kindly, and Mino noticed – —Your friend, or colleague, or boss, I don't know, asked me to bring you these folders— she said, extending them.

—To me?— Mino asked, confused, and Yeji simply nodded – —Let's see— he said, receiving them and couldn't help but laugh upon realizing – —Uh, Yeji?— He looked at her, and she nodded – —These are closed cases, meaning they're resolved— he pursed his lips and handed the folders back – —I don't need them.—

Yeji got upset and, without saying another word, turned to confront Shin Ryujin, leaving Mino with his arms extended, having to return them himself.

He walked back to that woman's office but before he arrived, he saw her laughing comfortably with another woman in another office.

—Wasting time, Shin Ryujin?— he asked, entering without greeting. Ryujin bit her lip, trying not to laugh, and Yuna simply didn't want to be the key witness to the approaching scene – —Sending me to deal with resolved cases? Is that very funny?— Ryujin turned around, facing that honey-colored, arrogant gaze.

—Well, to be honest, I thought you'd notice— she responded calmly – —I don't think you're a very good lawyer if you can't even differentiate a stamp— – Oh, Ryujin was right, and Yeji knew it.

—You're supposed to 'train' me or whatever so I can handle cases— she said, hands on her hips.

—I think you've watched too much 'CSI'— Ryujin laughed, making air quotes with her fingers, and Yuna couldn't help but let out a small laugh too – —This is a law firm, Yeji, not a crime lab.—

—Don't tell me— Yeji said, obviously, and Ryujin sighed, seeing the girl didn't understand.

—You're here— she pointed to the floor – —I'm up there— she pointed to the ceiling – —You have to get up there step by step since this is a hierarchy— she explained – —So, right now, you're something like a 'Junior,' subordinate to the 'partners.' Am I wrong, Yuna?— she looked at her.

—Nope— Yuna shook her head.

—You need to gain experience to do something decent; at least it works that way with me— she shrugged – —In the meantime, you have to learn from those of us who are professionally superior to you.—
