DEATH WISH ( Side Quest )

After two months of intense training, everyone had grown stronger and better.

Shoji managed to perform his special move, but he still hasn't unlocked its full potential. He also learned a lot of magic. Yoki discovered her class-she's an Elementalist, capable of controlling water, wind, fire, and earth. However, there is still much room for improvement.

Drake, Eric, and Zora have improved their stats and acquired new skills. Hana, too, has made significant progress, thanks to Shoji and Yoki.

"Finally, exams are over, and I can enjoy the holidays. I can finally spend time with Rennin-sama. It feels like heaven, so cool," Shoji muttered excitedly.

Everyone at school was talking about their holiday plans. Mayama, Akimitsu, Nori, and Sakura (Shoji's friends) invited Shoji to hang out with them and planned to go to the beach.

Shoji agreed to hang out but declined the beach invitation, as he wanted to go there with his teammates instead. Though his friends were disappointed, they all agreed to play some of the new games released this year.

School ended, and Shoji and his friends headed to Mayama's house, where they played games and had a sleepover, including some ghost stories and fun.

The next day, everyone headed home.

Shoji and Yoki told their parents they were going on a trip, but instead, they went to Yukino (the name of their house) for practice.

Shoji informed everyone that he was going to the Dragon's Nest and left.

"I need to find that dragon! I want to fight it again. Even though I lost my left hand and shoulder to it last time, two months ago, things are different now. I have to defeat it, or all this training will have been for nothing," Shoji said to himself as he searched for the dragon.

Two months ago, Shoji had fought a dragon and lost his left hand and shoulder in the battle. If Akira hadn't arrived in time, he would have been dead. Rennin worked hard to restore him, as Drake's healing abilities weren't advanced enough at the time.

"There it is! You can't escape from me!" Shoji screamed.

Shoji decided to launch a surprise attack from the air. He crafted a strategy, using the trees as cover, climbed up, and then, with full power, jumped towards the dragon. In mid-air, he opened his wings, drew the sword given by the Phoenix from his arsenal, and aimed for the dragon's neck.

But the dragon struck Shoji with its tail, sending him flying. Shoji quickly used his wings to stabilize himself. The dragon then attacked him with its claws, but Shoji blocked it with his sword and countered with a kick.

"I thought you were powerful, but I didn't expect you to be this strong," Shoji said while fighting the dragon.

Shoji decided to use the magic he had learned from Zora. He created a smoke screen with a spell, but the dragon cleared it with its wings.

"I think playtime is over. It's time to show my true abilities!" Shoji screamed as he flew towards the dragon.

Shoji gripped his sword tightly and rushed towards the dragon, first cutting its claws, then stabbing near its heart, leaving deep scars. The dragon's screams attracted other dragons.

But Shoji didn't give up.

He used his magic to create flames and then sliced the dragon's head off.

During his training, Shoji had learned a way to communicate with creatures, including dragons. He decided to try it on the remaining dragons that had arrived.

Out of the five dragons that followed, Shoji spared two and killed the three weaker ones. One of the remaining dragons was stronger than the one Shoji had just fought.
