Rennin and her servants, who are also her teammates, were enjoying their holidays by playing around, training, and getting closer to each other.

Rennin wanted to recruit some new members, so she instructed everyone to search for people with special powers and abilities, get to know them, and then consider recruiting them.

Though all of them have fighting experience, none have faced a real-life death match. Even when they spar with each other, they can’t go too hard on their friends.

"I think I need to find a way to give them real-life fighting experience. My brother is doing his best to protect Earth from Shunu, but nobody knows how long that will last. From what the blue dragon wielder, Yosaku, said, fighting a weak or undeveloped dragon wielder is a disgrace to him, as though the pride of dragons binds him from taking any steps toward Shoji. But that doesn’t mean we are safe. Sooner or later, Shoji will have to fight him," Rennin said to Akira.

"Yes, Rennin-sama. It’s true that most of the team lacks real-life battle experience, but Shoji might be different. He’s always trying his best to meet your expectations," Akira replied.

"Rennin-sama, I think you really like to take care of Shoji, don’t you?" Akira asked, teasing Rennin.

"Don’t misunderstand. I need to do it because he is our only hope," Rennin responded.

"I think I understand what you're trying to say," Akira said, still teasing.

Meanwhile, Hana and Yoki were at the waterfall, Zora and Drake were increasing their magic abilities, and Eric was resting before getting started.

Drake had improved his healing abilities and now wanted to focus on the other side of medicine.

For certain classes like magic, medicine, alchemy, and armor, there are secret, forbidden techniques that are not meant to be learned or used.

In the dark side of medicine, one can learn techniques like using the noble or royal blood of certain species to revive the dead, ways to make someone temporarily or permanently immortal (with limitations), and other powerful abilities. However, these techniques come with great risks and limitations to prevent them from being overpowered.

It’s extremely difficult to learn these techniques; only a few in history have mastered them, and all of them eventually disappeared from the world. The reason these techniques were forbidden was due to the previous king of demons, who misused his powers to try and rule the world. All nations had to join forces to defeat him and his dark army, and even then, it wasn’t easy. But in the end, they managed to kill him.

Drake asked Rennin if he could learn these dark techniques, but she immediately refused, telling him, "With great power comes great responsibility. You still need to become strong enough to use them."

Drake was disappointed but didn’t let it stop him from becoming the best medic in the world.

Meanwhile, Shoji, as usual, spent his time in the dragon’s nest.

"I think I need to explore new places. I’ve become too comfortable here. Maybe I need to find some flame dragons or stronger foes," Shoji said to himself as he prepared to travel.

"I should make some marks in case I get lost. It’s great that Rennin can track my location, and I’ve made some checkpoints with Zora’s help," Shoji added.

Shoji began traveling west, leaving marks along the way so he wouldn’t get lost.

He could use his wings, but he wanted to increase his stamina, so he decided not to rely on them too much since flying long distances drains a lot of energy.
