Chapter 117

After <Idol Producing Simulation> ended, we started preparing for our debut in earnest.

First, we met with Sigma Entertainment personnel and signed a formal contract.

The total period of activity at Seleste is 4 years.

What's interesting here is that there was an option to extend the contract after the activity period ended if the members unanimously agreed to do so.

In the case of individual trainees like me, since I don't have an agency, I go straight to Sigma.

However, the rest of the members already have contracts with agencies that they have been under contract with since their trainee days.

If they wish to extend their contract with Seleste, they must negotiate a mutual termination of contract with their original agency in order for the extension option to be activated.

There are complex interests involved in many ways, but it is not something we need to think about right now.

'A group formed through survival would naturally disband within 2~3 years, but it seems like the company has put in place an insurance policy for Seleste.'

In short, if we continue to achieve good results, Sigma wants to keep us.

It's also nice that the members don't have to leave the team they've grown attached to.

The key is whether their existing agency will negotiate.

After signing the contract, we were briefed on the future plan of activities.

"We've set our official debut date to be about two and a half months from now. During this period, you'll be practicing your debut song, filming a music video, and also filming a reality show."

As expected, reality filming begins.

They plan to continue the buzz from the survival program until our debut.

There seemed to be no big problem when they said that the filming would take place as soon as we entered our dorm.

"It would be fun."

"I want to see the dorm quickly! "

"...... It seems good."

I also agreed with the policy of minimizing the departure of (former) national managers.

One thing I was worried about was whether the members would lack stamina due to continuous filming.

"It's not that hard of a reality show. There's even a vacation prepared as the final reward, so I think you can enjoy it with peace of mind."

"Oh!"

"I love vacation! "

Sigma also took this into consideration, saying that fatigue from reality filming would not be that severe.

So I was wondering what the topic would be.

"The basic base, like all idol reality shows, will be scenes of living in a dorm. The content theme is reverse tribute."

"A reverse tribute? "

[역조공 <yeog.jo.gong> = reverse tribute. Gifts from celebrities to their fan. Tributes are gifts from fans to celebrities.]

"Then...... are we paying tribute to those who picked us? "

"That's right. We're going to create content that will reward the national managers who created Seleste. Would you like to take a look at this plan first?"
