Chapter 190

Our comeback date has been confirmed.

Seleste's second mini-album will be released on November 1st.

The album will be released on all music sites on November 1st, and the first music show is scheduled for Thursday, the 3rd.

This time, we will be able to announce our new song with a splendid comeback show thanks to the privilege of KNet, the home of <Idol Producing Simulation>.

The date being set means that all procedures leading up to the comeback are in the final stages.

We went back into practice mode again in September and October, determined to complete it without rest.

First, we had to finish recording the part distribution and idea discussion.

"It seems like today will be the last day, so let's all do our best until the end!"

"Yes-!"

Under the passionate direction of composer Park Seung-joo and lyricist Yoo Se-na, we entered the recording studio and practiced day and night, trying our best to perfectly execute the parts we had practiced.

Everyone was carrying important parts on their backs, so no one could stand in front of the microphone with a relaxed attitude.

In particular, I have been given quite a few important tasks.

"Karis, here's the intro."

"Yes."

"The tone is good now, but can you do something a little more languid? I want you to give off a feeling of seduction."

"I'll give it a try."

As the stage introduction, I have to deliver a short narration in English at the beginning.

Since this is a part that feels more like acting than singing, I had to adjust the tone to match the overall mood of the song.

It was a bit of a difficult process for me, who always has a confident and strong tone of voice.

"...... Is this what it feels like?"

"Ah, it's still good now. Hmm, how should I explain this? How about speaking while breathing a little more slowly?"

"It's easy to say, but it's actually very difficult to do."

I re-recorded the narration part several times according to Park Seung-joo's continuous request.

Doing the same thing over and over again made me feel nostalgic for some reason.

In the early days of <Idol Producing Simulation>, I couldn't even wink properly because of the body of this crown prince, who had absolutely no idol-like appearance.

So, with the help of Kang Si-yoon and Heo Yu-bin, I tried hard to succeed in that common wink.

It felt like I was back in that time.

"Hey, Karis! Lose yourself a little! You're still serious, aren't you? You should go for a sexy, sultry side instead of the serious side."

"I'm trying too, Siyoon."

"Hyung, it seems to me that you should close your eyes tightly and breathe a little harder on purpose."

"I think that's going too far, Yubin."

Thanks to the two guys who were giving me all sorts of ridiculous advice outside the recording booth, my memories of <Idol Producing Simulation> seemed to come back even more clearly.
