Pictures snapping, Gwen smiles and poses for those who have come to her publicity rally. The department store crammed with her fans, young women and girls gush over her, shrieking and waving through the security guards.

"Gwen!"

"Miss Silvis!"

Gwen blows a kiss to the 2 10 year olds making one of the burly guards work hard for his money. Giving the crowd a big smile, she starts signing the next magazine, and the next, and the next. Quickly, she moves through those waiting, some editions making her chuckle, reminding her of the start of her career.

One of the magazines flopping to the table, she sees an old hairstyle she hasn't sported in years. "Wow! Is this one like one of my first gigs?!" She geeks out about the past, it flooding happy memories to her brain. Memories of how Brad had to ditch high school and hide it from his parents, in order to take her to the test screening that landed her the job.

"Yeah," the voice breaks through her thoughts. "It's your first cover you ever did." She looks up to the guy with a smile. "When you were still at Mulberry High."

His words freeze a part of her brain. It figures there are fans who pay attention to every tiny thing said in an interview, but Gwen has had few of those, and off hand, she can't remember anytime she mention the school she went to. Shaking her head, she writes it off as this guy simply doing his homework while she tries holding her smile. Looking in his eyes as she hands the issue back to him, she notes there is something about the way he's looking back at her. It makes her smile slip a little, their hands attached to the same magazine. Those eyes, whats in them. She's seen it before and struggles placing the memory. As the guy turns away, it hits her. Those eyes of his looked at her much the same Creep's eyes looked at the creatures in that other dimension, the time he saved her and Jane's lives. It was the look of a predator, staring down its prey.

Swallowing, Gwen reaches for her water bottle before moving on to other signings. One issue, poster, or scrap of paper after another, she happily signs her name, doing what she can to shake those eyes from her mind. With each wave of her hand over the glossy finish, she feels them more and more. They're not going away and she doesn't know why?

With the flop of another magazine on the table in front of her, she jumps, snapping back to reality. The issue is more recent, and taking it, she signs. Handing it back up to the person, her body locks up. The guy's eyes down on her, they have her held by the throat. The man's face is entirely different, but his eyes, what's in them, it's the same. Despite what she sees, her body is telling her this guy is the same person, it's the predator.

Sitting in her chair behind the table, Gwen stares after the man, her jaw hanging open with the tiny hairs on the back of her neck standing on end.

"Thanks." He bids a smile that slants, his eyes the last to leave her as he turns.
