6 years later

A day before Vance's birthday

"Serene wake up your brother's here"
Mama woke me up

Right Vance and Mason were coming back today.

It's been years since I saw them. They did visit once but I was in a defense camp so I missed it.

I got out of bed and went downstairs still in my night suit.

I've grown quite a lot in these 6 years.

I grow from a kid to a lady.
And that was something my mother took seriously. She made sure I had proper learning about etiquette. And don't worry I didn't fail her.

I also learned that I can delay things by not following the past and as well as shift destiny of a person to another which will be quite helpful.

I see my brother there. And immediately I'm engulf in a warm hug. I giggle at Vance. And he let go of me.

He had grown taller. His once 5'6 frame now was about 6'3 .
While I myself had grown to 5'8.

"You look like a...lady now" Vance says as he looks at me and smiles

"Well look at you you sure look like a gentleman too brother" I say and suddenly he looks a bit proud

"Where's Mason, dear?" My mother asks him

"He went to his home to meet his family first. I told him he can come back tomorrow. He should have some time with his family too"
Vance tells her

Mother nods in agreement.

The following day the whole family sit down in the hall and listen to my brother rambling about his days in the business classes. He told us funny stories about him and Mason.

My father looked at his son all grown up and smiled. My mother was just over the moon that her baby was back. While I was at peace and enjoying the moment we had.

I was tired and told my mother I would take a nap and she agreed.

I went to my bed in a night gown. It was satin gown in color of maroonish red like blood. It reached halfway my thigh perfect for a hot day like today. And then blacked out as soon as I hit the pillow.

"Hey sleepyhead wake up"
Someone shook me violently

"WAKE UP"
He shouted

I took my pillow and yanked it at him

I looked up and it was Vance

"You can't stay one day before you start annoying me again, can you?"
I ask

"Nope, wake up now mamma told me to get you down for dinner and we're gonn-"
I cut off Vance by throwing a second pillow on his face

He throw one back. I catch it and attempt to hit him but he runs away. I chase him downstairs.
He runs for his safety to mamma and and I stop
When I see her glare at me.

"And I Was saying that we're gonna have the Bianchi's over for dinner. Uncle Nathan thought we should have a small get together now that we're back." Vance says

I notice Someone beside her and there is aunt sapphire grinning at me. I smile and she crushes me in her arms gushing how long it's been since she saw me and how I've grown so beautiful.

It was then I remember I'm still in my night gown. I look around hoping there isn't anyone else other than us. Thankfully there's not.

"Hi aunt it's good to see you I will join you in a minute just let me change."

She nods and I dash back but collide into a wall on my way back. I look up to see that it wasn't a wall but a muscular chest.

He was standing there. It was the First time I saw him after 6 years. Mason looked surprised and I couldn't help but admire him. He Glance at me and then his attention goes to what I'm wearing.

My face goes red as I realize he saw me wearing this. And I'm about to leave and run away from this embarrassment to find a hole to hid in. But that's when I hear a drip.

He touch his nose and we both widen our eyes as we realize he's having a nose bleed.

I dash towards my room while he Dash in the opposite direction.

I enter my room and slam the door shut. I'm breathing heavily and I try to slow my breath down. Calmly walking towards my bed and sitting on it.

Then everything crash down.

Aaahhhh he saw me wearing a bloody night gown A NIGHT GOWN FOR FUCK'S SAKE.

AND HE HAD A NOSE BEED.

A NOSE BLEED.

I grab my pillow and scream the hell into it.
