Chapter 14: Donnie Hangs Tough

Being handcuffed and taken to the police station as Donnie tried to explain the situation to the police officers about a mechazoid and his evil corrupted sea turtle girlfriend coming after him. Unfortunately, the police officers were too excited to see a mutant turtle in the station right now.

"Why am I handcuffed? Am I under arrest? I can't be under arrest, that goes on my permanent record!" Donnie said in less panic as the two officers looked at each other for a few minutes and then looked back at the purple mask turtle.

"Uh, you're not under arrest per se." The officer said as the other police officer nodded in agreement and spoke up.

"Oh yeah, we need to question you. For our book." He said gently as he took out a book from his drawer and showed it to Donnie while continued the conversation. "Subway cops: mutant edition."

Donnie raised an eyebrow, looking confused for a moment. "Wait, all those notes you took aren't for, like, sending to the SWAT team? They're for a book?" He asked.

"Transportation Officers, special mutant division." The police officer said, letting out a chuckle and continued. "They make a book into a movie, then we retire and open that cop-themed restaurant we always talked about."

"Ah, the Cop-acabana. For the book jacket." He said excitedly as he went over to the purple mask turtle and took a selfie on his phone.

Donnie looked at the two police officers and spoke. "Can you focus here? We're all in danger right now. The mechazoid that's tracking me.... it's still out there and it's super dangerous." He said in a squeaky voice as the police officer who took the robot arm off from the shelf and looking at it.

"What do you mean this thing? Looks like some kind of fancy back scratcher to me. It can't hurt you." He said gently, giving the robot arm to the other officer who started to try it out, using the robot arm as a back scratcher right now. Until, it started to make whirring noises, spinning itself around.

"What is that?!" The police officer asked in panicked.

Suddenly, the mechazoid came out from the top of the ceiling, dust forming around it as a red glowing eye started to glare at the police officers who looked very frightening to see a robot inside of the station.

"See? I've been telling you the whole time!" Donnie said in a squeaky voice.

"Tase it!"

The police officer took out a Tazer from the back pocket and aiming it at the robot who got shocked, blue electrocuted formed onto the mechazoid's body; but it wasn't going down yet.

"Eat hot lightening!" He shouted out as the mechazoid begin to make noises again, Donnie looked over to the keys on the police officer pocket.

"Uh, hey, uh, can you scoot back?" Donnie asked as the purple mask turtle took the keys using his toe and begin to free himself and ran to the other side, taking the laptop from the table. "My phone's broken, so I need this. Sorry. I'll bring it back so you can write your book."

He was about to leave the station as he witnessed the mechazoid grabbing the police officer by the neck. Donnie knew that he had to do something, then he threw something at the robot which got it's attention, turning around and to see the purple mask turtle.

"Hey! Leave them alone!" Donnie said in anger towards the robot, pointing to himself as he continued. "I'm the mutant here, come and get me!" He said as the robot released the police officer and started walking towards Donnie who looked a little bit frightening. "I'm certainly regretting that one."

Running out of the station as Donnie is being chased by the mechazoid behind him, he looked back at it and then tried to slide down an the stairs. He tripped, falling to his feet and fell to the ground as the mechazoid tried to punch him which caused Donnie to dodge out of the way and started running again. Donnie accidentally bumped into someone who dropped her coffee on his face.

"Watch it!" She exclaimed.

"Sorry." Donnie apologized.

Then the lady started to recognize him from somewhere and knew that it was one of the turtles who saved the city.

"It's one of those mutant heroes." She said excitedly, taking out her phone and taking pictures of Donnie.

"I was gonna say evil robot chasing me. But yeah, that too." Donnie said as he started running again while the woman called out to him.

"Hey, can I get a selfie?" She asked politely.

Donnie looked at the mechazoid and then spoke. "I know that you're just following your programming, but can we take a timeout?" He asked as the robot kept chasing him even faster without saying anything.

"Yeah, I didn't think so!" Donnie exclaimed.

Everyone screams in fear as the mechazoid bumps into something, but then keep chasing after him. However, Bishop knew that mechazoid was gonna need some help on this mission as she started speaking into her earpiece.

"Melody, I need you to go down to the subway station and help mechazoid four capture that turtle." She said as the last sea turtle girl who was standing near a building, her long blonde ponytail blowing in the wind as she smirked.

"I'm on it, Bishop. That pathetic turtle won't stand a chance." Melody said with an evil smirk on her face, jumping off the building and started heading down to the subway tunnel station.
