As Draupadi settled into her new life, her bond with Nakula and Sahadeva grew stronger. Their attentive care during her recovery made them her preferred companions, often leaving Yudhishthira, Bhima, and Arjuna feeling slightly left out. Nakula and Sahadeva basked in the special attention, clearly enjoying the closeness with Draupadi.

One afternoon, as Draupadi chatted animatedly with Nakula and Sahadeva, the other three Pandavas entered the room. They observed the easy camaraderie and the affectionate way Draupadi interacted with their brothers.

Yudhishthira, with a hint of playful irritation, remarked, “It seems like Nakula and Sahadeva have secured their spots as your favorite companions, Draupadi. What about us?”

Draupadi looked up, momentarily taken aback by the comment. “They’ve been incredibly supportive. I’ve just been spending more time with them because they’ve helped me so much.”

Bhima, grinning, chimed in, “Oh, so it’s all about the help, is it? Maybe we need to start taking notes on how to earn a bit more of your attention.”

Arjuna, with a mischievous glint in his eye, added, “I see. Should we be worried about losing our place in your heart to Nakula and Sahadeva?”

Draupadi, feeling the warmth of their teasing, tried to hide her blush. “It’s not about losing places. I appreciate all of you equally. It’s just that Nakula and Sahadeva have been particularly helpful during this time.”

Nakula and Sahadeva, enjoying the playful banter, joined in with their own teasing. Sahadeva said with a smile, “It’s true we’ve been spending a lot of time together, but we’re just making sure Draupadi feels comfortable and cared for.”

Nakula added, “And we’re glad to be of help. Maybe the others can try being as attentive as us.”

The teasing continued with laughter and good-natured jabs. Despite the playful remarks, the camaraderie among the Pandavas was clear. Their teasing was a sign of their strong bond and mutual respect. Even as Draupadi spent more time with Nakula and Sahadeva, the warmth and affection between all the brothers and Draupadi remained intact, showcasing their deep connections and the joy they found in each other’s company.
