**Chapter 68: The Next Morning**
The first light of dawn gently filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the room where Draupadi and the Pandavas slept. The night had been peaceful, their collective warmth and closeness providing comfort and security, not only for Draupadi but for each of them as well.
Draupadi was the first to stir, her eyes slowly fluttering open. She felt the comforting weight of Sahadeva’s arm draped over her, his hand resting protectively on her stomach. Around her, the other Pandavas were still asleep, their hands gently touching her, as if even in slumber, they were guarding her and their unborn child.
A small smile played on Draupadi’s lips as she looked at each of them, their faces peaceful and serene. The love they shared, the bond that tied them all together, filled her with a warmth that spread through her entire being. She shifted slightly, careful not to wake them, but the movement caused Sahadeva to wake first.
His eyes opened, meeting hers with a soft, loving gaze. "Good morning," he whispered, his voice hushed in the quiet of the early morning.
"Good morning," Draupadi replied softly, her smile growing.
The gentle exchange stirred the other Pandavas awake. Yudhishthira was next, followed by Arjuna, Bhima, and Nakula. Each of them greeted Draupadi with a warm smile, their eyes reflecting the love and concern they felt for her.
"How are you feeling?" Yudhishthira asked, his voice tender as he moved closer, his hand still resting on her shoulder.
"I’m better," Draupadi replied, her voice soft but sincere. "Thank you for last night. I know I was difficult…"
"You don’t have to apologize," Arjuna interrupted gently. "We’re all in this together, and we’re here to support you, no matter what."
Bhima nodded in agreement, his large hand gently squeezing hers. "We’ll get through this, one step at a time."
Nakula smiled reassuringly. "And we’ll be right here with you every step of the way."
Draupadi’s heart swelled with gratitude for her husbands. They had been so patient, so understanding, even when she had been overwhelmed by her emotions. She reached out, her hand brushing against each of theirs in turn, a silent gesture of appreciation and love.
"We love you, Draupadi," Sahadeva said softly, his hand still resting on her stomach. "And we’ll do everything we can to make sure you and our child are taken care of."
Draupadi’s smile grew, and she nodded, feeling a renewed sense of strength and resolve. "I love you all too," she replied, her voice filled with emotion. "Thank you for always being here for me."
The morning light continued to brighten the room, and with it came a sense of hope and determination. Together, they would face whatever challenges lay ahead, their bond unbreakable, their love a guiding force.
As they slowly got out of bed, ready to start the day, the Pandavas remained close to Draupadi, their hands lingering on her, their presence a constant source of support. They knew that the journey ahead would require patience, understanding, and unwavering love, but they were ready to face it together, as a family.
And with that shared commitment, they moved forward, ready to embrace whatever the new day would bring.
