The early morning light began to seep through the curtains, casting a soft glow in the room where Draupadi and the Pandavas lay. It had been a week since their wedding, and the six of them had grown accustomed to sharing a bed, finding comfort and warmth in each other’s presence.

As the clock struck 5 a.m., Draupadi stirred from her slumber. The Pandavas, however, remained deep in their dreams, their restful breaths creating a serene atmosphere. Draupadi, with a gentle smile, decided it was time to wake them up.

She began by softly stroking their hair, her touch tender and soothing. Despite her efforts, the Pandavas showed no signs of waking. Amused by their stubbornness, Draupadi decided to try a different approach.

With a playful tone, she said, “Wake up, or else I will pour cold water on you!”

“We don’t want to wake up at 5 a.m.,” they whined in unison. “You’re acting like Mother Kunti and Madri, pouring cold water on us and pulling the bedsheets.”

Nakula, always one to find a way to persuade Draupadi, said with a hint of mischief, “Nitya, give us a hug and kiss, and we’ll wake up.”

The Pandavas echoed his sentiment, urging her to act quickly. “Fast, Draupadi.”

Laughing softly, Draupadi leaned in and placed gentle kisses on their cheeks and foreheads. Her touch was tender and filled with affection. The warmth of her kisses and the softness of her embrace slowly roused them from their slumber.

The Pandavas, now awake, looked up at her with sleepy but contented smiles. The morning ritual had become a cherished part of their days, a sign of their closeness and the love they shared. Draupadi’s affectionate wake-up call had brought them all together, starting the day with warmth and love.
