With the amount of shopping and walking we did, everyone agreed on going back home
" There's no buses available" Juyeon said, sulking
" I'll take her home, we're neighbours after all" Sunghoon said, grabbing Juyeon's shoulder to turn her around
" I can walk" I said to Heeseung, him stopping me
" Absolutely not, what would my father do to me if I risked my tutor's life?" he said, reminding me that I had to tutor him
I turned on my phone, checking any messages, but then Heeseung added his contact in, taking me aback
" I'll text you when and where to come over " he said as we were taking a few turns to my house
It was 8pm, yet very dark, so I could see why he offered walking me home
As we arrived, he waited patiently until I unlocked the door and went inside
He even held my bags for me, placing it on the doorstep
To avoid trouble, I locked the door as if my life depended on it, then I checked the eye hole, watching him take steroids further and further away
Once I turned around, my mother was there, giving me a glare
" Where were you?" she asked, concerned
" Spending my birthday with some friends" I said, picking up the bags from the floor
" Friends?" she asked, I nodded
" Right, with what money? Surprised you managed to hide that from your dad " she said as I sighed
" They paid for it as a birthday gift, my money is in my phone case " I said as she gave a nod
" Hide it before your dad sees any of that" she said as I gave a smile, rushing to my room
ONE MONTH LATER
" See, this is how you'll fail. Pay attention to the questions!" I scolded Heeseung, him sulking
" Seriously, when will I need this in my life" he pointed at the textbook as I sighed
" During your exams, once you pass you'll thank me. I'm helping you achieve your career mister businessman" I said giving a glare, him shooting his head back to the book
" I better see some improvements within these next two months" I said, packing my bags to leave
TWO MONTHS LATER
Heeseung had done his exams, since he was in senior year, he finished the school year a few months earlier
As I walked by the halls, Heeseung came running to me
" Thanks to you I might pass" he gave me a smile
" Really? Why'd you think so?" I said, scrolling through my playlist.
" I zoomed through the exams, I'll promise to text you my results" he said as I just smiled
" Also, you still owe me that favour for ruining my project " he chuckled, I groaned
" When should I-"
" Don't worry, once I get my results, you have to buy me barbecue " he said, I nodded
" Alright, see you then" I waved at him, he turned to leave through the front door
I was quite proud of myself, if it weren't for me, Heeseung wouldn't have been so confident in his exams
That was all for me, senior year begins soon
