" You're the one who denied my job offer because you enjoyed it here" he corrected, I rubbed my forehead

Hoyeon had seen me and pulled me into a hug

" I must say, she never fails to surprise me with her work. Too bad she left your company" he rest his hands in his pockets

" Well, I'm sure she must've told you how fun it was here" he clasped his hands together, Heeseung chucked

" She did? She must've forgotten to tell me " he said as they went to the meeting room, I followed them

" So, I was wondering. Another collab?" Seok inquired, Heeseung let out a deep sigh

" Yeah no, I can't see that happen" Heeseung said, standing up as he bowed to someone, seeing Hoyeon struggle to walk in her heels

" Heels? I thought you hated them?" Heeseung pointed out

" It's not really a choice anymore " she glared at Seok, Heeseung reached for something in his pocket

" Call me if you dread it here" he passed her his business card, taking my wrist in his hands as we walked out together

" Heeseung!" Seok called out, he stopped walking

" Go wait outside" he said, clenching his jaw as he turned around

" Don't you mean CEO Lee?" he corrected, Seok stuttered

" Yes sorry, just one more chanc-"

" I said no, deal with it" he pretended to yawn, walking out the building

As he came out, I gave him a round of applause

" Look at you, wasting my time for what? I'd rather you told him that through your phone" I said, being very sarcastic

" I wanted him to be jealous of you, and help poor Hoyeon out" he stated, walking back to the car

I layed down on the couch, staring at the ceiling

The whole day me and Heeseung had been awkward, you could say

We just didn't interact as much as we usually did or he didn't ask if I was busy or anything

Maybe I was the one being unusual, time went way slower for me, like how the traffic felt like forever but it usually happens everyday

I guess time does go by slow when you're bored, but I just don't know what's bothering me so much

I came back home after tutoring with Heeseung, and I must say, he isn't easy to teach

He gets distracted easily and can't get himself to focus on the question

But thankfully, he's improved way better than last week

I unlocked the door, I heard running as I locked it
