Mrs Lee catered the food, grabbing a ton of side dishes from the kitchen
Everyone sat down, Heeseung and his parents sat in front of us, Jake and Somin were beside me
" Seojin, I wanna seriously thank you for tutoring Heeseung" his father said to me, a smile formed on my face
" Don't worry about it, I'm sure he would've managed on his own" I reassured him, not taking all the credit for myself
" Still, he used to be so lazy to study and now he overworks himself" he shot a glare at Heeseung
" Okay police chief, are you gonna arrest me for growing up?" Heeseung said jokingly, everyone laughed together
" You're police chief already?" Jake asked, Mr Lee nodded
" Yeah, I must say it's quite tiring" he exaggerated a sigh, Heeseung interrupted
" Do you take numerous flights though?" He added, showing off that he puts 'more' effort in his job
" Do you lock up people that could potentially kill you?" His father continued to talk back
" Well, do you-" Heeseung spoke, his mother shoved some rice in his mouth
" Shut up and enjoy your meal" she humbled him, laughter came after
" Is it usually like this?" Somin asked, Mrs Lee shrugged
" It's a love hate relationship between them. Either they hang out, or they compare how hard their life is even though I'm struggling trying to deal with both of them "
"He even embarrassed me in front of the school. He wore his uniform and told me off for failing maths and everyone thought I was getting arrested " Heeseung scoffed, pouting
" Never in my life would I imagine Heeseung pouting" I pointed out, he immediately stopped, giving a glare to me
" Enough bullying Heeseung, he'll use his senior card on us" Jake said, offending him more

" And I thought my family was chaos" I blew raspberries, they chuckled afterwards

" Seojin, nothing can compare to my father" Heeseung said to me, his father hadn't reacted much
" What's your full name?" His father asked me, I was confused
" Yoon Seojin, why?" I asked back, confused
" It just sounds really familiar, that's all" he continued to think
" You probably heard her name when she used to tutor me" Heeseung said, swallowing down one of the side dishes
I ignored it, assuming that it just meant nothing
Unless, he was the officer that knew about my father and said we didn't have enough evidence
With a spoon, I ate from my rice, then I started coughing
I had trouble trying to digest the rice, Heeseung placed a cup of water to me, I drank it and felt better
" Thank you" I murmured to him, he responded with his bright smile
Eventually, all the food finished and everyone was full
I had a few drinks so I was unable to drive back home
" It's getting late, we should go home now" Jake looked at the time on his phone, standing up and offering to drive Somin back home
I hung my head low, unable to think straight
" I'm taking this one with me" Heeseung lifted me up, searching for my car keys
" Seojin where are your car keys?" Heeseung asked me, crouching down to look at me
" My pocket" I mumbled, he searched through my jacket pocket and gave a sigh
" It isn't there" he said to me, I stayed quiet
" Just let her sleep here tonight, she can find it in the morning" his mother insisted, Heeseung wasn't bothered to search for the keys anymore
" Sure, let me just tell her family" Heeseung responded, scrolling through his phone to find a contact
" Jihoon, your sister can't come home tonight, no need to worry about her. I'll drop you off at school tomorrow "
I couldn't hear Jihoon's voice from his phone, not like I needed to, but instead I fell asleep
My eyes slightly opened, I held in a bridal carry, Heeseung gently placing me in a bed and placing a duvet over my shoulders
" Good night" he pat my head, from then on, I fell into deep sleep
