HEESEUNG'S POV

naur way we just got a heeseung pov let's gaurr

I turned off my alarm, changing into clothes suitable for the cold breeze of spring

I grabbed my car keys, then placed my jacket on

As I walked towards the front door, I saw Seojin's shoe, except her keys were there

I swear this girl has dementia once she's drunk

Instead, I grabbed them and left them on the kitchen counter, driving to her house to pick up her younger brother, Jihoon

He waved at me, coming to sit in the passenger seat as he clicked his belt on

" I see you more than my own sister" he joked, I chuckled

" She's worried about me getting sleep but I'm worried about you being late for school" I said, making him laugh

The whole drive he was just playing video games, he kept showing off how he was better than me

But, I continued to prove to him that I was better, except he didn't seem like he approved

We got to his school, a bunch of people crowded around my car

" Are you dating Jihoon's sister?" a boy asked, taking me aback

" Haven't you heard the rumours online? They're like the power couple right now!" A girl beside him said so

" Jeez I'm not dating her, what goes through 12 year olds minds nowadays" I spoke back, Jihoon scoffed

" You sound like Seojin, and you're both old" Jihoon said before shutting the door

I guess I just got called old by my friends younger brother, ouch

At the corner of my eye, I had seen a few kids push Jihoon around, his nose was bloody

They looked exactly the way he described his bullies when I first met him at the convenience store

I got out the car, getting nostalgia from my old middle school

Students crowded around me as I rushed to Jihoon, picking him up off the floor

" What are you doing?" I asked the guy who pushed him, he scoffed

" Who are you? Seojin's boyfriend?" he asked, his voice a little deep as if he just hit puberty

" So what if I am? What does that make you?" I said to him, a person behind him whispered to him

" He's the Lee Heeseung we saw on the news the other day, step back"

As he said so, the bully walked backwards, bowing down to me

" Don't tell Seojin-"

" I have every right to do so" I spoke back, Jihoon came to me in a rush

" Seojin's here" he hid behind me

She parked her car and ran towards me

" What the fuck is going on?" she whispered to me, I gave a deep sigh

I turned back to the kid from before, glaring at him

" Apologise" I said, my voice firm

" What?" he questioned, I clenched my jaw

" Want me to spell it out?" I said, staring down at him

" Sorry Jihoon" he eventually said to him, running off

I gave a tissue and held it tight on Jihoon's nose

" He's a kid Heeseung" Seojin said from behind me

" Doesn't change the fact that his nose is bleeding" as I said so, she'd seen Jihoon behind me

" Fuck that kid, where are his parents " she scoffed checking on Jihoon

" Take him home, I'm too tired to deal with this " I said, going back to my car

" Seojin! You never said Heeseung was your boyfriend " a girl said to Seojin

" Boyfriend?" she questioned, turning to look at me as I gave her an awkward smile

" It was so the bully felt scared " I whispered to her as she nod

" Ah yes, my boyfriend. Sorry" she said before dragging me and Jihoon to her car

" Seriously Heeseung? You could've just said you were my friend or whatever" she scowled at me, Jihoon held in his laughter

" If I said I was your boss that'd sound really weird for me to be dropping Jihoon off at his school"

" Forget it, see you at work" she opened the door, about to get inside

" You can skip today, I have no schedule today" I said, walking towards my own car

Out of all things I had to say I was her boyfriend, at this rate her aunties will kill me
