Ch. 9

Hawks POV

Facing the door as I closed it, my muscles tense up under my jacket my wings twitching slightly. Boy? Friend? Boyfriend!? No no no no no not my baby bird! Hell no! She's too young to date! Maybe sending her to school was wrong maybe a Convent School she can become a Nun! Yeah, that sounds better I'll look into Nun schools, straight away. I'm brought out of my thoughts by an annoying voice behind me.

"Hey, are we gonna have this talk or what? I don't feel like leaving her by herself for too long." He says sounding annoyed to which I could care less about that I'm about to make his life hell for messing with my Baby Bird. Turning around to face him I put on one of my biggest smiles to the point my eyes closed with it.

"Of course, follow me I don't like talking in the open." I say and begin walking away from the door and him, but I could hear him following me. We walked a bit away from others which was what I wanted, glancing back I saw him following behind me.

Taking the chance with him being distracted I used my feathers to push him into room next to me, taking him by surprise following after him I close the door locking it sending a single feather out to keep a look out for anyone walking pass. Turning around I control the feathers to pin him to the wall, lucky for him he doesn't struggle. Walking up to him I glare down at him. "What are your intensions with my Baby Bird?" I ask him causing him to glare back at me. "What you think I got ill intensions or something? I care about her you damn Bird brain! And get your damn feathers off of me before I explode them." He says his glare hardening causing me to smirk.

"Yea no, you don't get to make demands especially with that attitude of yours. From what I saw from the Sports Festival you got quite the temper, and I don't feel comfortable with her being around you. Who's to say you won't take out your anger on her." I say leaning closer to his face my eyes glaring at him analyzing him, to which he just glares back at me. "I'd never hurt her; I care about her... a lot actually which is why I want her to come with me. To get out and see new things. I can keep her safe! So, you can back the fuck out of my face now!" He states causing me to back up my eyes still narrowing towards him.

Calling my feathers back to my wings he stumbles some but catches his footing standing upright, brushing off his clothes glaring at me. Smirking I tilt my head slightly analyzing him more. "What got a staring problem now?" He spats "No, just trying to figure out what my baby bird sees in you." I say with a smile, his eye begins to twitch in annoyance. "Oh, and one last thing before I forget..." I start catching his attention. "What is it now Birdbrain?" He states. "You can't reveal my identity to anyone, nobody knows my real name let alone I have a younger sibling. It's to keep her safe so don't tell anyone." I say causing him to roll his eyes.

"Yeah, kinda figured that, I ain't stupid you know. Don't worry your secret is safe with me." He says causing me to stare at him. "Fine, I'll let her go and set everything up for her too, but if she gets hurt while she's there you have to answer to me." I say glaring at him causing him to smirk. "Oh, that doesn't sound very heroic." He says smugly, causing me to roll my eyes. "Alright let's go before she picks all her feathers out worrying that I'm killing you." I say turning back around unlocking and opening the door.
