TW: stitches.

Scorpia winced as they tried to stitch her exoskeleton. Now that the adrenaline wore off, Scorpia almost couldn't believe that Adora had gotten the dagger in hard enough to make a dent, let alone one this painful. She did her best to remain still, and not think of her best friend in that girls clutches.

"Do you need something to hold onto?"

Scorpia looked down. She'd been squeezing her own shirt. "Oh." Slowly, she flattened it. "Sorry."

"No worries. We want one of our best soldiers in top shape, anyway, when we get revenge on She-Ra."

"Yeah." Scorpia scoffed. "She pretends she's all nice and then when you're least expecting it, she strikes. When I get my hands on her, I'll-" she paused. What would she do? Get another visit to the infirmary?

The door swung open, revealing Lonnie with first aid kits. "I'm here," she said. "I saw the houses, and I came here. I have my first aid. What can I do?"

The nurse didn't take her eyes off Scorpia as she said, "help who you can. The biggest injuries go first."

She nodded, and her eyes finally passed over Scorpia. "What happened to you?"

"Adora."

She frowned. "That doesn't sound like her."

"Well, it was her," Scorpia said. "Why aren't you with your friends? I heard they abandoned us."

"I had to come back", she said, almost ruefully. "Talk later?"

Scorpia nodded, and they went their separate ways.

...

A wave of sparkles flew over Catra's head, knocking the spider to the wall. It made a squeal, but it was enough for Catra to leap over it, and dig her claws into its body. It struggled to get her off, and she clawed harder and harder, until it stopped moving.

Sparkles and Crop Top were behind her, finishing up their spiders. Bow looked over at Catra's and did a thumbs up.

Five more materialized. Catra groaned. "Are you gonna do this all day?"

"As long as it takes," was her reply, and Catra groaned and fled.

"What are you doing? Leaving us here?"

"The door," was Catra's reply. She had to get away from that woman. She slid to the door, and tried to press it open. Nothing happened.

Beside her, Crop Top and Sparkles materialized. She sighed. "Eternia." The door slid open, and they went in, surrounded by darkness.

"Adora!" Glimmer gasped. "I have to stay with her in case. Bow, can you figure this place out?"

He nodded. "You've got this."

She nodded and disappeared.

"I hope you know the passcodes like Sparkles did." Catra sighed. "Where are we?"

"I don't know!" Crop Top said. "We never went in here, you said you did."

"Yeah, well, not this room either, maybe." Catra frowned. "It's different with that lady in it. There used to be memories. Where are they?"

With her words, the lights flictered on. The room was still pitch black, but two figures were not visible. Catra and Adora, in monotone colours. They were in black and white, their faces more withdrawn.

"Woah." Crop Top approached them slowly, reaching his arm out. His hand floated through them. "Aren't they supposed to be moving?"

Catra stared at her younger self. "Yeah. They should." She closed her eyes. "Maybe it's a good thing-"
