Bucky knocked on the door lightly. "Hey." He greeted when it opened.

"Hey. You ready?" Riss asked.

Bucky nodded. They walked through the store together. "What do you think of this one?"

Riss shook her head. "Not a fan of marble." She answered. "The wall behind my bed is brick, would it look stupid if I went for the same thing for the counter?"

Bucky thought for a second. "Could be cool, actually."

Riss looked through them. "Maybe a peel-and-stick?"

"I don't know, babe, wouldn't that lift eventually?"

"Probably." She answered. "I'll get some extra, fix it when it does?"

Bucky nodded. "And you like the flooring, right?"

"Yes. Can't go wrong with light hardwood."

"What's next?" Bucky asked.

"Paint, shit to paint with, plastic to cover the furniture." She answered.

"What colors were you thinking?" Bucky asked.

"I want the walls white, the cabinets green, I think." Riss answered. "Dad always had a green kitchen."

Bucky nodded. "Primer?"

"Yes, good catch."

They made their way back to the apartment, walking down the street together. "How long do you think this will take?" He asked. She shrugged.

"How much time do you have?"

"As much as you need." He answered.

"You know, you don't need to help me." Riss told him. "If you wanna work on your amends, I mean."

"I'll get back to the amends after Karli." Bucky told her.

Riss nodded. "Okay." She led him into the apartment, the pair covering everything in plastic as Riss's phone rang. "Hey."

"Bucky with you?" Sam asked.

"Yes." She answered.

"Hope I'm not interrupting."

"It's time?"

"Suit up. I'll send the location."

"Okay, Cap." She hung up, turning to Bucky. "Time to go to work."

"Where?" Bucky asked.

"Lower Manhattan." Riss answered.

"I'm almost there." Sam told them as the couple made their way through the crowd.

"What's the plan?" Bucky asked.

"Karli's gotta be close. Keep your eyes open."

"Yeah, well, it could be anybody." Riss replied.

"Sergent Barnes." The officer greeted as they passed. "Agent Rogers."

"And by the way, I called in some backup." Sam said.

"Excuse me, sir, are you supposed to be here?" A man asked as he approached them. Sharon removed the hat and the photostatic veil. "It's me."

"Sharon, what the hell are you doing here?" Bucky asked.

"Relax." She answered, grabbing his arm. "No one's looking for me here."

"Do I hear Sharon?" Sam asked.
