*Emily's POV*

I walked back into the banquet hall, grabbing two cocktail glasses, and hurrying to find a seat anywhere so I could stop my head from spinning. I downed the first drink in two swallows, and then started on my second. I didn't care if anyone noticed something was wrong with me. I just had to get rid of the feeling in my stomach.

Because I had lied to Daniel. I had kissed him, just to see if I returned any of his affections. And when the butterflies had started going crazy in my stomach, I knew that I did. I felt almost the same way I did when I kissed Jack. The difference was, after the kiss, I felt guilt. Because I was married to Jack. I wasn't married to Daniel.

But I guess I loved Daniel anyway.
