**JUNE 26 THE DAY THEY STARTED THEIR FLIGHT TO GREECE**

"Bri, Thea, we need to camp here for tonight. Uhm....lemme check...." He brings out a map from his bag," We are currently in....Kansas!"

"Lets camp in this park. Here, Thea," Brielle pulled out something which looked like a compressed sack of hay, but when she set it down on the grass, it converted itself into a full sack of hay, like a complete meal for the Pegasus.

She then pulled out what seemed like pack of biscuits, with hardly 10 biscuits in it.

"These are magical, one biscuits make your stomach feel so full that you instantly fall asleep." James stated while looking at the packet of biscuits.

"You studied them too?" Brielle asked, even though she knew how much her best friend loved researching about God-related stuff.

"Yea....I thought knowing about this kind of stuff will help me to catch father's attention."

Upon seeing him upset, although he still tried to mask it with a smile, she held his hand and sat on a nearby bench.

"Look, James, You are amazing. I don't know why Zeus never interacts, but I know that he is really missing out on a wonderful son."

He hugged her, nuzzling his face in her shoulder, as if trying to hide from all the anxiety and stress in his mind.

"Y'know, I think you need some sleep. I'll take the first watch." Brielle offered and made him lay on the bench, so as his head was on her lap as she started caressing his hair.

"You sure?"

"Yea. You're exhausted, besides, I don't wanna eat that biscuit yet."

" 'Kay. Wake me up in 2 hours. And yea yell if there's any sign of danger. Don't try to get all the glory by killing monsters all on your own. Alright?"

He joked, and the tension that was looming in the air finally melted completely.

"Okay, okay."

"Why didn't you wake me up?!" James asked as soon as he woke up on the bench alone, but as he turned his head to the left, he found his bestfriend feeding Thea.

"You were sleeping really peacefully. I didn't want to wake you up."
Brielle shrugged as if it was no big deal.

But for James, it was certainly a big deal.

He walked over to her and hugged her.

"Then you're gonna sleep once Thea finishes her breakfast and we start flying."

"What? No I can't do that, James."

"Yes, you can. Now c'mon, eat a biscuit."
