The sound of calm breathing filled the eerie silence of the moonlit night.

James was sleeping on Brielle's side-in the infirmary as she still hasn't woken up-while hugging her.

He felt some movements near his body, waking him up, as he looked towards Brielle, and found her eyes slightly opened.

He gasped, making her look at him.

His eyes quickly filled with tears, his heart brimming with emotions. He locked eyes with her and pulled her closer to his body, enveloping his body around her petite one.

He sniffled on her shoulder, and after a moment of their hearts communicating in an unheard language, saying unsaid words to each other, he pulled out and cupped her face.

"Y-you're awake." He stated, his voice barely just a whisper.

She scanned his face as her fingertips gently traced the crescent-shaped scar on his left cheek-the only one that's left after his fall during the war.

"H-how d-do you f-feel?" She asked.

He chuckled at her question and held her hand that was busy tracing the ends of his scar.

"Says the one who's been out since 20 days." He whispered while closing his eyes.

"20 days? Was it that long?" She whispered back, her eyes slightly widening at the revelation.

"Yea. It was quite hard to live without your ranting." James said while chuckling.

"Is everyone else okay?" Brielle asked.

"Yea. Leo was missing after the explosion, and so was Festus. They found no sign of them, until around 4 days ago, when they somehow returned with Leo's girlfriend." He explained.

"Leo has a girlfriend?" She asked while pulling James weakly by his t-shirt, urging him to come closer.

James nodded while chuckling and coming even closer to Brielle and wrapping his arms around her.

"Am I supposed to call Will to check you?" He asked in a daze while staring into her eyes.

"Who's Will?" She asked while staring back.

"Your half-brother, and Nico's boyfriend." He said in the same tone, still maintaing the now-intense eye contact.

Hearing his answer, Brielle broke out of her daze as she looked at him with a smile on her face.

"Nico as in Nico di Angelo? Thats so great!" She said while smiling brightly.

A soft smile found its way on James' lips as he admired the girl infront of him.

The smile on Brielle's lips slowly disappeared as a nervous look replaced it.

She looked around the infirmary-anywhere, just not James.

On asked what happened to her so suddenly, she replied,"I wanted to ask if you still want me to be your Girlfriend."

For a moment, James stared at her in  shock as he tried to process her question.

And then, he pulled her closer--if that was even possible, considering how close their bodies already were--and smashed his lips on top of her pink ones.

A jolting concoction of emotions were exchanged through the kiss.

Both of them were nervous--given that this was their first kiss--while their hearts danced in the  music of their shared connection.

James' hands fumbled as he held her hand, while his other hand was cupping her chin.

Despite all the emotions on the surface, there was a deep sense of happiness and contentment in their hearts.

After a moment, they pulled out and rested their foreheads together while staring deep into each other's eyes.

"Was it your plan to eat my sister's face as soon as she wakes up?" A blonde boy who was standing at the threshold of the door of the infirmary said.

Seeing him suddenly standing there, James fell off the bed, making the siblings giggle.

"You must be Will?" Brielle asked after he approached her and put his hand on her forehead to check her condition.

"Yep! I guess your boyfriend talks about me a lot." Will answered after flashing her a smile, indicating that she is completely well.

"Its not like that." A red-faced James said while sitting on the other side of the bed.

"Oh you wish. I'll give you guys some time. You'll need to visit the Bighouse in the morning, sis."

Brielle didn't know what the "big house" was, but she still nodded to her brother and he went out of the infirmary to let them rest for the night.

No more question, no more doubts, no more secrets.

Brielle and James now shared a blissful silence, their hearts saying things their lips can never.

They lie on the bed peacefully, because they know that even in their deepest struggles their love will always....
