Weeks had passed since Y/N and Iwaizumi attended Jun's game. Now, with only one week left before Y/N's performance, the music club was bustling with activity. The band members were focused on putting the final touches on their setlist, ensuring everything was perfect for the big event.

In the Music Club Room,

Y/N and her bandmates, Haru, Mei and Kenji, were deep into their rehearsal. The room was alive with the sounds of instruments and Y/N's enthusiastic voice.

"Alright, everyone," Y/N said, catching her breath. "Let's go through the second song one more time. We need to make sure the transitions are smooth."

Haru, tuning his guitar, nodded. "Got it. We've got a week, so let's make it count."

Kenji, adjusting his drumsticks, grinned. "Hey, Y/N-senpai, I heard you've been spending a lot of time with Iwaizumi-senpai lately. What's up with that?"

Y/N's cheeks flushed. "We've just been hanging out. He's been really supportive."

Mei, who was setting up the mic stand, teased, "Oh, so he's your cheerleader now? Must be nice."

Y/N tried to hide her embarrassment behind a smile. "He's been a good friend. That's all."

The bandmates chuckled, and Y/N's blush deepened as they continued their rehearsal, their playful banter adding a touch of fun to their intense preparations.

In the Gym,

Meanwhile, in the gym, Iwaizumi was finishing up a practice session with Oikawa and Aiko. The atmosphere was lively, filled with the sounds of volleyballs and the occasional shout.

As they took a break, Oikawa nudged Iwaizumi with a smirk. "So, Iwaizumi, we've noticed you've been spending a lot of time with Y/N. Any special reason?"

Iwaizumi, still catching his breath, shrugged. "We're just friends. She's been great to hang out with."

Aiko, who was sitting on the bleachers, raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really? What do you think of her?"

Iwaizumi paused, considering his response. "Y/N is really talented and kind. I admire her dedication and how hard she's been working for her performance."

There was a moment of silence as Aiko and Oikawa exchanged knowing glances. Oikawa, always direct, leaned forward with a teasing grin. "So, do you have feelings for her? You know, do you like her?"

Iwaizumi's face turned a deep shade of red. He looked away, fumbling with his words. "I, um... I think she's great. She's really nice and talented. I don't know, it's... complicated."

Oikawa's grin widened. "Ah, so you do like her. You should definitely tell her how you feel."

Aiko, who had been quietly observing, added, "Take your time to figure out your feelings. If you're ready, maybe you can find some time to talk to her about it."

Iwaizumi, still blushing, nodded slowly. "Yeah, I think that could be a good idea. I'll think about it."

As practice resumed, Iwaizumi's thoughts were preoccupied with Aiko's suggestion.

I never imagined I'd feel this way about Y/N. But now that I do, I want to make sure I find the right moment to let her know how I really feel.

Later that evening, 

After practice, Y/N and Iwaizumi met up to talk about the upcoming performance. They walked together, discussing their plans and their excitement for the days ahead.

"I'm really looking forward to your performance," Iwaizumi said, trying to keep his tone casual despite his nerves. "I know you've been working really hard."

Y/N smiled warmly. "Thank you. I'm a bit nervous, but I'm excited too. I'm glad you're coming to watch."

As they continued their walk, Y/N couldn't help but feel optimistic about the future. The support from her friends and the growing connection with Iwaizumi made her hopeful for what was to come.

Iwaizumi's thoughts wandered as they walked. 

It's funny how much can change in such a short time. I never thought I'd develop feelings for Y/N, but here I am. I hope that when I finally tell her, it's the right moment. Maybe after the performance will be the best time to have a talk with her. 

With the days leading up to the performance filled with anticipation, both Y/N and Iwaizumi looked forward to what the future would hold, eager to see where their budding relationship might lead.
