Something In Between

I used to think that love was kissing,
Until i knew you.

I used to think love meant to be intimate,
Until i knew you.

I used to think love was between partners only,
Until i knew you.

I used to think you marry if you're in love,
Until I knew you.

You made me realize, that all of it wasn't necessarily true.
Because I'm not like that in love with you.

I love you, but not the way a Husband loves his Wife.
But i love you more, than you love a friend.
I've,
Only know you a few chapters of life,
But you are what happiness represents
for me.

You showed me a kind of love,
I never this kind of,
But i realized how much you meant to me.
How we never disagree
How you stayed when i scraped my knee,
Knowing you couldn't stand blood.
How you hugged me, tho i was all muddy.
Even when you started calling me your snowpea.

I still hate that nickname,
No matter how meaningful it became.
I share my last nugget with you,
And you let me use the last of your favorite shampoo.

You never knew how much these small gestures meant to me,
But you seemed to notice as i let myself be sleepy,
Around you.

I don't love you, but i do.
Not like a Boyfriend loves his Girlfriend,
And not how someone loves ones friend.

(but seriously, what is that kind of love called?)
