No Stranger -Poem

We haven't spoken in years, it's true,

but never in those years, became I a stranger to you.

We met in a dark stage of life,

But I knew, we would meet again before the afterlife.

Us meeting again was a wish come true,

And it felt, like it came out of the blue.

Seeing you again, was a blessing,

But I am too bad at expressing,

My feelings in spoken words,

Wishing it was easy like birds chirps.

You could never be a stranger to me,

We both know, our bond is deeper than the sea.

Still lays between us,

So many unspoken words.

You mean the world to me,

Even when I'm bad at showing thee.

A poem to my greatest friend, G. Thanks for staying.
